Has anyone thought about buying sports bras yet? I went looking yesterday but haven't got a clue which one to go for.
Hope you feel better soon Ruthaay. X. I've got 2 little girls too a 4 year old and a 13 month old, hoping I'm going to recover quick.

Re: May Buddies
Hey bumblebee, it's all so confusing I'm the same as you i don't know what my exact size will be so have no idea what sports bra to buy. I have my last consultation on Wednesday morning so I'll ask my ps what he recommends.
I'm having 360cc under, I don't have enough tissue for overs!!!! Am a 34a at moment. I go in on sat 4th May. So excited

Re: May Buddies
I normally like to have everything planned in advance so this last minute stuff is driving me loopy haha ! I'm sure iv read that the triumph tri-action sports bra is good but then iv also had suggestions to get a front fastening one so you don't need to move your arms much! Confuuuused. Oooo you're the day after me, exciting stuff :D!! Am I the only one paranoid about getting a cold or something now? It would be just my luck!! xx

I was told to buy 32d and dd but when i tried them on the 32 was to tight so i have bought 34c and d i have just bought cheap asda ones for the first week then when i know what size will get the zip up ones from m and s read on here they are good i have also got some bra extenders for the swelling

Re: May Buddies
I was told to buy the band size above normal to allow for swelling and then go down a cup size from what you're expecting. For example, if I wanted a 32 d, I was to buy a 34 c. However surgeons might all do it differently! xx

Re: May Buddies
Oh the confusion! Who knew buying a bra could be so hard
My PS told me to take vitamin c 2 weeks before op and arnica to help with healing. My 2 girls and my husband have had nasty colds but so far I'm okay!! Fingers crossed I don't catch it next week.

Re: May Buddies
Alana - how are you taking vitamin c? Tablet or juice? The reason I ask is because my Boyfriend showed up last night with a bloody cough/cold. I'm so worried I'm gonna catch it. I feel like germs are everywhere haha!
Dkdme - I would ideally like to be 32d so I can throw my padded bras away!! xx

Re: May Buddies
Hello girls!
I've just paid my deposit this morning for the 10th May!!
I was going to see another consultant but tbh I really like the one I've booked with and I think another persons opinion will confuse me even more!
Has anyone else booked with the only consultant they have seen?
I'm feeling really mixed at the moment, excited, nervous, sick lol. I need to get preparing now!! xx

Re: May Buddies
Ah that's great you have decided :) what have you chosen?
I've not chosen yet, I have my 2nd cons Monday so hopefully I will defo be sure by then. My cons has said I should have a larger implant due to a slightly larger left breast. I'm doing loads of research but tbh he's such a highly qualified surgeon I'm going to be guided by him.
