Implants and attaching to breast.. Empty Implants and attaching to breast..

Hi girls,
I tried searching for a topic on this so I'm not asking a stupid question but I can't find one anywhere.
My surgeon/ nurse etc haven't said anything about the type of implant I have needing to "attach" to the breast but it is something I've seen written about. I've got CUI CMH 460cc overs.
Is there anything I should be doing or not doing to make this happen?? I woke up on my side this morning and was worried but it seems you girls are in agreement that around 10 days is fine (although transform told me 14) so I won't worry too badly. I'm just concerned that I might hinder the process of attaching.. have I misunderstood? Implants and attaching to breast.. 267328

Ooh, I also have a weird "empty" feeling behind my right nipple... almost like there's a dip in the implant.. it's worse if I lean forward. But I can't feel anything when I touch it - it feels the same as the left. No sure I've explained the feeling very well but has anyone had that?? xxx

You have 'textured' implants hun, so being left week alone with a high impact support bra to keep them stable is all that's required for these implants. If you're swelling has settled and you're in no discomfort you should be fine sleeping on your side now if you're happy to, although I really wouldn't personally advise going against the advise given by your clinic.

At 10 days post-op its probably a mixture if fluid and some numbness causing the sensations you're feeling behind the nipple right now. You'll find as you progress through your healing you'll experience all kinds of strange sensations, but they're nothing to be worried about hun and do settle down on their own. Xx

Thanks hun, you have such a lovely way of putting people's mind at ease. I've just seen my nurse too which i was nervous about as we had disagreements before but she was really reassuring and had loads of good advice. Will update my diary! xxx
