Support Band Empty Support Band

Im almost 2 weeks po think i have to keep my support band on for 2 -4 weeks. but was wondering if it would hurt to take it off 2day for a bit, got a funeral to go to and havent got anything to wear that would cover it

I'm no help to you here hun, I was told to wear mine for 6 weeks Support Band 683465 Its so annoying to try and cover them up, they sit quiet high! I suppose just for a short while would be fine? Maybe give the clinic a quick ring to be sure? xx

ye mite fone them. cant seem to get clothes to cover mine too, it starting to annoy me hopefully they will tell me 2mos i dont need to wear it anymore

That would probably be best, just in case! tut, I don't know why mine will have to stay on for 6weeks?? Its fine slobbing around the house but its when you need to wear something presentable, or dressy its a pain! xx

they said at first it was 6 weeks but when i went for my 1 week po they said i mite only need it on for another week

Unless instructed by your surgeon or clinic nurse that its OK to remove the band hun then I would keep the band on.

In removing the band you could possibly compromise your healing and also risk voiding your after care babe. So if you have to leave it on you're going to have to find something to wear to cover it lovely. A nice scarf or. Pashmina draped over your front should help to hide it lovely. Xx
