Oh dear, I would be feeling sorry for myself too. Try not to be too harsh on your husband - even tho you probably want to punch him lol. If you need him there then you need him there and thats it, at least now you know next time you book he can organise the time off work and that you will be more relaxed and feel safe with him there with you. What was it that got you so upset, the anaestetic? The operation itself? x

I was raped when I was 15. At the time I was at a friends party. It was the first time I had a drink. I was in and out of conciousness. When I had pethadine when I was in labour with my son, it had a similar effect. It felt just like that night. in and out of it.
I find it really had to let go and trust people. I have had lots of councilling ect and had no idea until today how the idea of going under would affect me. I had the other obvious concerns like not waking up but knew they wer irrational. I know I need my husband at these times and should have pushed him harder for it. xx

No regrets, I love my boobs :) do not miss the days of wearing HUGE gel bra's and being too ashamed to take my top off.. finding it hard work choosing what to wear as certain things made me look even more flat chested etc!!! Obviously there's the future re-ops/complications side but I'll think about that if and when x

I regret my first operation. I looked into everything researched for years and still ended up with a bodge job. I was never happy from the moment I woke up and went through a stage of wishing I'd never had it done and just dealt with my horrible empty skin. In some respects I feel lucky I fought for a reop as I am a lot happier now than I was with my boobs. I wish I'd had more patience and didn't let desperation get the better of me, it would of saved a lot of stress... I'm not one for flaunting them at all. I never wish I was bigger if anything I wanted to be smaller. I think my breasts are a lot better now shape wise than they were before just wish I didn't have to go through everything I did before

hi
im only 4 days post op and had a very empty 32 E, I've just had an uplift, no implant. I'll let you know if there any regrets cause they are smaller than i thought they'd be, but I know there is a lot of changes still to happen, but very happen at present.
