Littlewellies im sat here dreading the next time i have to do it again! The paracatemol aren't really doing much but i don't want to be sick on stronger pain meds.
If your still in pain tomorrow then ring the number in your booklet and they'll prob give you something stronger.
I might ask for some anti sickness tablets as i can't keep my food down n being sick after this op is painful! They're so tight man...i had anti sickness meds last night so they no i would of needed them today. X

Aw babe, i was sick post op. i threw up when they took the drains out snd OMG... the journey home was hell for me. I ended up throwing up in a carrier bag, and I only just made that, let me tell you! If you're still feeling pukey in tge morning, see if the GP can give you some anti sick pills.

What pain mess are you on babe? The tramadol made me sick as a dog but I've been fine on cocodamol or codyramol

Paracatemol! Nothing strong at all, also the anti biotics but that is it.
It's a vicious circle...i need food to get better yet im sick as a dog when i eat.
I wasn't prepared for this, if i didn't feel sick then i think id be ok but im just sat like a zombie too scared to get up incase im sick again.
Did you get anti sickness from your doc? X

Poor dove!! So sad to hear the GA didn't agree with you...
I'm sure if you call them and ask for anti sickness pills you will feel way better- I had some of those, and they worked amazingly well- I ate and didn't feel sick at all! I do think, like cookie says, its super important to try to keep nourished, so make sure they know how much youre suffering...

Antibiotics often make you feel sick too. For me the codydramol made me feel sick, whereas tramadol was absolutely fine...

Try not to think about when you're going to have to do it again, it will just panic you! Try to take each day- hour, even- at a time? I really hope you feel better soon.

lots of good wishes
:flowers: Give You

congratulations on your boobies by the way, you two ladies!!

So interesting to see the variations in meds we're all sent home with! Dove, it could either be the antiBs or the GA causing the nausea. Your GP should be able to sort you babe.
My god, I was a ganet post op! I ate a massive bowl of pasta with I've cream for desert after I'd been back an hour, then a 3 course meal for dinner that evening! Had to make the most of the food!

No honey, paracetamol is a painkiller and diclofenac is an anti inflammatory similar to ibuprofen (Nurofen) which in turn should have analgesic effect.
Neither are antibiotics

Keep your hand elevated (as much as is comfortable) and maybe apply an ice pack, sounds like phlebitis hun (swelling of the veins and surrounding tissue) the elevation will help drain the swelling.
As far as the nausea, there's probably not a lot you can do overnight. Call GP 1st thing honey, just just and keep sipping fluids
