I got nervous at 2 days before, 1 day before I was fine, slept no problem, was fine right until they started wheeling me down but they are so comforting and you're out before u know it! I really believe the calmer u go into it the easier it'll be. No one can believe how perky I've been on the phone when I've spoken to mates, im just so happy with them that takes over any discomfort xx

Hey ladies...sorry for the delay! I've had a bit of a rough time recovering from ga . God knows what they've done to my hand but its ballooned and i can't use it properly...can't make a fist or open it out flat nope

Anyway im home now and am trying to find my appetite as I've not eaten since tues but the thought of food makes me want to hurl!
All's good with the boobies..still doesn't seem real!
I'll do a picture trail when my hand works enough for me to take pics!

Aww sorry to hear you e had a rough time Hun, try and drink lots of water to help flush it out and have a little bit of something you fancy to eat to help recovery and regain strength xxx

Bless ya hun you've really been suffering. That's good they kept you in though and under ob's. It takes a few days for the GA to get out your system so you'll feel pretty roooooobish for a few days but there is light at the end of the tunnel as you'll feel better after that. Rest up & hope someone is looking after you x x

Don't worry, it will settle hun. This is very common ad nothing to be concerned about. It will be sore but massaging your hand will help make it better sweetness.

Little and often is the key babe. If you sit to a big dinner when you feel like that it will just make you gag. Crackers, alone or with a bit of spread if you can manage it, ginger biscuits are good, ginger is very good for helping with sickness. A piece of toast... Just take it easy until you feel better hun but do at least try to eat some, even as little as I mentioned if that's all you can manage with you pain meds hun. If you don't then they will make you feel sick.

All's good with the boobies..still doesn't seem real!

Hey hunni it probably is from the cannula sometimes they manage to get in the vein but it collapses so when they put the fluid in it goes into the tissue in the hands.Its very common happens at my work all the time maternity wards.Just keep an eye from redness thats creeps up your arm ie infection.Will go down soon once fluids have manage to escape.I am assuming it is the hand the cannula was in lol other wise if its the other hand then im at a loss ha ha sure they wasnt hand dancing in theatre. :)))))

Thanks for the advice ladies, I've has a weetabix.
Katielou they took the original one out and replaced it with a plastic one, the pain in my hand kept me up most of the night! Lol hand dancing...this made me laugh which hurt my ribs!
I closed my door littlewellies as it was too noisy for my spinning head x
