Starting to doubt if it's jitters or whether this might just be showing my (relatively new) boyfriend in his true colours? The top gear arguement was something and nothing but in all seriousness, not only did he not know what date my op was, he had planned to see his mate on what he thought was the night before my op, he's gone out tonight despite how upset I've been all day and said he'd only be out an hour but was out for 2 before I text to see where he was - am I being over sensitive or would you girls feel a bit hurt by this? X

Sorry, probably reading my experience didn't help- I am a TOTAL wimp so don't worry!! Prep your home with stuff to do- I had nothing to do all day apart from get anxious because I had nothing to read, didn't know how to work the telly because it is run through the computer, didn't know how to put dvds on...
Bottom line- men are idiots- strange creatures from mars- I guess they don't really think about it the same way. It's good that he's being so relaxed about it really- you won't get any aggro! Trust me! Mine didn't want me to get it done in the first place, and now he won't come near me he is scared of them! He became more of a blunt nurse than a nurturing bf for a while there :( Worst thing is, he will read this as he doesn't want me to be writing on this forum anyway, and he will read into it far too much and create another argument out of it! Atleast your bf is sounds much more laid back about it :) Optimism!
Oh yea. And I HATE TOP GEAR SOOO EFFING MUCH AND HAVE SEEN EVERY DARN EPISODE ATLEAST 5 TIMES, ESPECIALLY THE ONE WHERE THEY GO TO VIETNAM! I have had this arguement plenty of times- settle it by drooling over Damon in the Vampire Diarys, or the sexy men in True Blood- it's good too because there are no hot chicks for the men to perv haha! ;)

hey littlewellies i dont think men think before they do!
maybe your bf is a little worried too so hes keeping busy?
I would feel exactly like you though, i dont think you are being over sensitive at all, your properly just feeling a little anxious about things at the moment, i hope you have a better day today, just keep thinking how happy you will be with them new boobies! I hate Top Gear too! I'd like to give Jeremy Clarkson a slap. I am seriously outnumbered in this house so have seen too many episodes for my liking. I am at the point where I will not go in the living room if its on the tv and I make sure everyone in the living room knows I am not happy.

Good luck with your ops littlewellies and Dove! Try not to think too much into your bf littlewellies. Men can be pretty useless at times, maybe he doesn't realise that you need more support, tell him! I have been told soooo many times that men don't think like women and its true. Tell him what you want/need hun and see what happens. Big hugs x

Aww bless you both, see he does care! He's just a bloke and they tend to be a bit rubbish at knowing when we need them around and when we need space x
