Blimey... Floods of tears (must be 2 days to go)
Think the jitters have got hold of me girls, woke up ok but after a little argument with bf I've spent an hour in floods of tears! :(
Starting to wish I wasnt going on my own now and my excitements gone, working today and tomorrow too!
Any tips for calming down?

Aw hun, don't worry you'll be fine. It's such an emotional time for you at the moment. Best thing to do is have lots of cuddles with bf, and keep busy, work will help even though you probably wont be able to concentrate, I think a few of us made lists of what we needed, then packed and un packed a few times. Make sure you have a good clean and get everything down at arms reach. Think positive and you'll have your new boobs before you know it.
Re: Blimey... Floods of tears (must be 2 days to go)
Awww hunni, c'mere
Its such an emotional time on the run up to your BA and tensions can get very high, but its all going to be just fine
Going alone honestly won't be a problem hun. Men are a pain in the backside when it comes to anything like this. They get more nervous than you making you more nervous then when you get more nervous you get "well you wanted this!" Lol they're so predictable....
My hubby drove me mad with all his fidgeting and asking me every minute... "Are you sure you want to do this?, we can walk away right now you know, I don't care about the money"
Nice but....SOD OFFFFFFFFF! Hahaha its all funny now looking back, but honestly babe, I'd have been better on my own and after surgery, you're that zonked out you don't even know they're there anyway.
Take some deep breaths gorgeous, think about what I just said and then thank you're lucky stars you partner isn't going lol.
I spent my time on the last couple of days reading the stories the girls have written here. Reading how happy they are after surgery really helps pick you up hun.
Maybe go out for a meal with your partner tomorrow night to clear the air and spend some time together before you go.
You really will be OK you know babe and you CAN do this. Xxx

I was exactly the same in the run up to mine hun, its totally normal! Work should be a good distraction anyway and just sit down and have a chat with your bf, explain your not yourself at the moment etc. He should understand and you can start to get excited again
I wasnt really able to calm myself down much, just make a list to be sure you have all you need, maybe even go for a walk to clear your head? Good luck, it will all be fine xx

Thanks girls, bf came to see me on his lunch and I apologised for calling him the most selfish person in the world because he puts top gear on every day........ LOL!
Bit of a crap day at work, nor only has it been pick on gemma day but they didn't send home the girl who came in with a tummy bug and threw up in the toilets...... If I get the bug and don't have surgery I will be fuming!!!
Dove how are your nerves now??
Xx

Re: Blimey... Floods of tears (must be 2 days to go)
I told him he was the most selfish person in every single way because he never considers I might not want to watch top gear every day of the week and that I used to fancy Richard Hammond and he has ruined that for me as well....... Lol he did laugh at the time and he didn't take any of it to heart but I felt really guilty he had to leave me in tears this morning I don't suppose that was very nice.
Mybreast can't be right about our surgery times, there's only 20 mins between our admission times so it can't be 90 mins surgery time after admission xx

oh darling! I felt like I was fine until the weekend before, until I had a big argument with boyfriend too!!! I'm so surprised but consoled that so many of us have gone through weird emotional times too!! I'm glad you're feeling better- probably now you've let loose a bit the tension will have dissolved a bit for you!
Good luck with everything xxxxx

No i don't think they're right with the op times either, we'll find out on the day. It's a good job your bf obviously knows that the op has made your mood go all funny, bless you x

Aww no. It's funny what choosing to have this surgery does to you isn't it. I was in floods of tears before my 1st BA too, and then again on the operating table as I was about to have my second. It's normal, not long to go now x
