1 week post op...is this normal?

I am 1 week post BA and my boobs especially around my nipples are red and very sore to touch. This has developed over the last 24 hours.... Is this a normal thing? Could it be infection. Don't know if I am just panicking. But I did over do it on Friday a bit, will it just be due to that?
I haven't had soreness like this from the beginning though.

Soreness is very normal lovely and nothing at at to worry about.... Sudden rednedness though sweetness does I think require further investigation.

There's nothing to panic over, but it would be advisable to contact your surgeon and ask them for advise.

You should have been given a number upon discharge from hospital that you can call babe.

Just give them a quick call, if only for reassurance to see what they say babe. Xx

Thanks cookie, just spoken to the hospital and they said to keep An eye in it and call backif it gets worse. And try to rearrange my 10day check with the nurse and try and bring it forward from thursday. X

Good luck, I'm sure it will be ok, and they're obviously looking after you well trying to bring forward your appointment!

Bless ya sounds painful. Hope you're resting up, green tea & more organic truffles plus making the husband wait on you, youre not milking it and tell him you require a yummy Sunday lunch with lots of veg to help your body repair :0) that's my excuse for today, I'm hoping ill have one on the table when I get home from work :0)

Hope it subsides & if it was anything really serious they would have you back ASAP hun x x

Thanks ladies. I am still a little worried but it isn't getting worse. Just feeling a bit down today I think and annoyed at myself for doing too much. I will call the nurse tomorrow and take it from there. Like you say if they were really worried they would have told me to go back in right away. Xx

Mine are really sore today just over a week and the incisions feel worse than ever. Also my left breast i can feel fluid running round implant i dont feel any thing in my right one but my left is really strange !!! I hope yours int infection hun maybe its just swelling going and changes irritating it x

I have had ice on them all evening and it seems to be easing the swelling and the redness. Still gonna call the clinic tomorrow and see what the nurse thinks.
Feeling a bit cheerier now though. I am sure it will e fine, x
