Re: April Buddies
I'm not taking arnica as I've not been told to. Iam massaging now 2 weeks before my op. Arnica helps with recovery. You only massage boobs after your op when your surgeon gives you the go ahead x

Re: April Buddies
Arnica is to help prevent/lessen post op bruising I think, and bio oil to help skin tone/scarring? TKs Loclo I will get some bio oil next time I see it! x

Re: April Buddies
Hahaha no every day drags like crazy.
The funny thing is I haven't told anyone apart from my two best friends (because I will never cope without them looking after me) and my boyfriend (becuase i think he will notice lol). I wanted it to be totally my decision so I kept it soooo quiet. Its lush to be able to rant about it here!

Re: April Buddies
Morning ladies! 23 days and counting now- got my 2nd consultation on the 4th April and about 100 questions for my surgeon..... When have you guys bought your post surgery bras? Does the ps tell you what size to get at the consultation? I have breast feeding boob (ie 2 empty sacks of skin) so know I am currently wearing the wrong bra as haven't bought any new ones since having my children- should I be fitted do you think just so I know what's what? Getting soooo nervous.... How many days left for you guys?..... X

Re: April Buddies
Hi Guard, 11 days for me Your surgeon will advise you on what sport bras to bring and sizes. I would wait until after your ba and the go ahead from your surgeon to wear wires before getting fitted. x

Re: April Buddies
Hi Guard! I bought the MnS zip front sports bra in the sale, just guessed as I measure a 34A according to their guide, so I bought a 36D for swelling and 34D for after, I would have bought the 34DD but it was sold out but I reckon a D will be fine, they seem stretchy and right now there is loads of extra material in the cups! I still wear my old 34C sports bras just now and they r all wrinkly in the cups too. I really like the designs, easily the nicest sports bra I have seen, and because I will have underarm stitches on one side Cookie said they should be fine with that and not come too high up at the side. Basically I was chomping at the bit to buy one!!!! My PS wouldnt commit to a final size for me so here's hoping I got it right! x

Re: April Buddies
Hi ballet babe- I'm desperate to buy something! It's going to have to be a bra or onesie! The m and s ones were exactly what I was planning to get- although they are all sold out now in my size- will you get a mancom bra as well do you think? I'm seriously getting obsessed now the dates getting closer! X

Re: April Buddies
Hi girls, mine is 3 weeks today and its all I seem to think about most of the time. I bought a Macom bra with a 34 back size and the cups are supposed to be expandable. What are you planning to take to come home in, I haven't got a clue what to take apart from it will have to be something easy to put on x

Re: April Buddies
HI Misante - 3 weeks! How are you bearing up? My OH is getting really angry with me for
a, being on this site all the time!
and
b, constantly looking at breast augmentation on the internet to find my 'photos I like' and 'photos I don't' for my PS.
.... clearly he is not a boob man so maybe a brazilian butt lift next! Ha ha
As for surgical bras I haven't bothered being fitted since stopping breastfeeding my daughter - as soon as my milk went and I was left with my spaniels ears I knew I was getting it sorted ASAP so couldnt justify the expense. I was a 34DD before I got pregnant, then went to a 36C and then a 38E when I was breast feeding - none of them fit me now so not sure what back size I am. I measure as a 38 but my bras feel really loose so maybe a 36?? I have just bought some really cheap bras at the m & s sale in a 38C and a 36D to see what fits best (I still can't really face anyone seeing my boobs at the moment).
I havent got a clue what to wear home - I did consider a onesie but I am not sure I can pull one off! Probably just tracksuit bottoms and loose t-shirt and hope it stops bloody snowing by then! x

Re: April Buddies
Hi about the same as you I think, I am trying not to think about it all the time as I'm driving myself mad. My OH has been really good but I'm sure he really feels like wiring my jaws up.
I love your comment about the Brazilian butt lift you'll be giving your OH a heart attack.
I haven't bought my things for the hospital yet although my niece has a onesie in a nice shade of blue if I could get away with it. Hope you manage to find the photos you are looking for and the something you desperate to buy soon. Take care, lets hope the days fly by xxx

Re: April Buddies
Who is first in April on our board? Will you all be doing diaries? I've found them really useful - loads of stuff has come up I didn't know a thing about.
Had an awful dream last night that I just had one giant saggy boob hanging down to my knee- woke up in a bit of a panic and was quite relieved for once to see 2 saggy boobs hanging to my knee! Guess the nightmares have started- I was exactly the same when I was pregnant! X

Re: April Buddies
You haven't got long at all have you loclo! I am having nagor implants as they are the ones my surgeon likes- I've looked them up online and they seem to have a good reputation- as for profile etc i am not too sure yet- I have my second consultation at the beginning of April so I hope to finalise all that with him then. I am having anatomical though and size is from 400 to 600 although he did say the 600 would be round.... I am thinking 520cc although am worried I might look too big...my ps will have earache by the time I'm finished with him on my consultation! What type are you having? Are you staying overnight? Can't believe that's the most expensive thing of all- I'm expecting fine dining and a butler for what they are charging me! X
