He was but i researched him to the high heavens! Even found books on breast surgery that he had contributed to and everything and he was perfect because i have tuberous breasts and he specialises in reconstructive surgery. Just don't know what the bloody hell i'm going to do x

Thats so annoying. Whens the next possible time you could have surgery? If you feel like he's "the one" maybe its best you work around him. After all, its worth the wait xxxx

This time in 2 years when i graduate just duno what the hell to do for the best =s were you happy with your consultation with Mr Clarke? Are Transform open at weekends? x

Oh no thats so far away!!!! I know what you mean with uni and stuff though I work 3 days a week and uni the other 4 so I had to time my surgery around that. Luckily for me my OH works for himself just down the road so he will be able to stay with me and pop in and out as needed.

Yes I loved Mr Clarke! I actually got recommended him from a friend who had her BA with him in 2011 and her results are brilliant. After her recommendation I started googling him and found lots of reviews and forum posts about his neat scarring and good work so I booked my appointment directly with Transform to see him first(didn't see a PCC first). He's extremely friendly and went through everything in as much detail as possible, he even drew me a little diagram lol!

There were lots of people waiting to see him and he didn't make me feel rushed one bit - quite the opposite actually, he kept asking if i had any questions and was I sure I had all the information I needed?

My clinic in Birmingham is open on Saturdays for certain (not sure about Sundays?)

Will have to see if the one in Manchester is and maybe book a consultation with him. I was going to book one with him when i first booked with Mr Hardy but when i knew he was the surgeon i didn't end up booking it (which i know is naughty not to get a second opinion) so maybe that's something i could look into as an alternative x

I know what you mean, I didn't have a second consultation because I felt confident in Mr Clarke and now another of my friends has had her BA with him I'm even more certain. Obviously one lady's needs are different to another's but I felt happy with everything Mr Clarke said and hopefully I'll be equally happy with my results.

Hi Balamory! Read ur NOOOOOO, thats so frustrating!!!! I know both of the surgeons I went to had those Easter weeks off too, I am booked in the week after. As one of the other girls said on that thread, I also preferred the second surgeon I spoke to. If u liked another PS and could get him on that date, then u could make an informed decision about that date vs 25 March. I know this must be upsetting given your research into "the One"! Hope u get it sorted x

At first they quoted £3995 for overnight and £3695 for a day case but the Pcc said I would have to have an overnight because I live so far away, so I said is there any way of getting the price down and she said she would try..she rang me within a matter of days and I paid £3745 for an overnight! X

transform quote me the same 3995 onernight stay + 200 transport cost, i told them mya had quote me cheaoper (lie cos mya quoted me 4150+400 transport lol) .. so transform got price down to 3750 with free cheaffeur driven transport included! x

Thanks, unfortunately i have just had a call to say they now can't do the 5th so trying to see if they can get the theatre on the 2nd or 9th otherwise I'm going to have to go with next Tuesday or wait until may!!! May is too far away but next week is too soon I haven't bought anything yet, had pre op etc. hope they ring back soon as this is so stressful.

Booked in with John Pereria at the Somerfeild hospital on the 16th April - can't believe I am actually going through with it! He recommended partial submuscular anatomical implants - although he said I could go anywhere from 400cc to 540cc... I have done the rice test but really undecided still. Any advice on how you came to your decision on size?

HI Guard and welcome! I am 19 April! What r ur stats? Is your breast width about 13-14cm? What projection and height do u want? With anatomicals there is more to choose! I chose by reading everyone's stats online n trying to compare to myself to get an idea, then made up rice sizers to try at home with a sports bra and tops etc. The second PS I went to offered me roughly the size I wanted after my examination, and at my second consult with him we agreed on the size up from that as I know the sizers can look bigger stuffed in a sports bra as opposed to inside the body. Luckily for me I did not want any bigger, as I wouldnt have been allowed them anyway as I am having an uplift too! GL x

Sorry April buddies I've got to leave you. My surgeons secretary messed up with dates and so it's either next week or May. Decided to go with next week. Bit nervous now and panicking as not bought anything yet!

I you go on a topic one of the admins have started click on their tickers and it will take you to the site. Once you hae your ticker just add it as a signature to your account thing.

Hi ballet babe

I am 145lbs ( but hoping to loose another 7lbs by BA date!) I am 5'5. I have no idea about my breast width- I will measure before I go to bed. Before I had my babies I was a 34 DD and when I was breast feeding I went up to a 36E. I now wear my 36D as I refuse to buy new underwear until after the op- although I bearly fill the bra and have lost any fullness I once had. At my consultation my surgeon said I was prob more a small C now. I have done the rice testers and quite like the 520cc although at my consultation my surgeon said I could go anywhere from 400 to 600 cc. I have a droop to my boobs but my surgeon said that I would get a good enough lift from the anatomical implant so didn't need a lift as well- so I guess I need a full high profile implant. I just got my husband to take a photo of my boobs now so I can document the changes and it was not a pretty sight- roll on the 16th April! I have my 2nd consultation on the 7th so will maybe discuss profiles etc with my surgeon then? I am desperately trawling the Internet for boobs that look like mine but all the pictures are of women that are size 8 and not a stretch mark insight.... Must loose weight must loose weight.........

Hi April girls! Today someone mentioned one of the kids activities resuming on 19 April after the Scottish easter hols and I thought wait a min, I wont be here I will be in hospital!!! SO its just 5 wks today for me, what about u?! How r u feeling? x
