Re: April Buddies
Iam back! Only 2 tops and 1 bra! Thats not too bad!! And I was wondering up and down talking myself into NEEDING things.
Buddah belly, Iam dreading! I had it so bad when I got sterilized that I couldnt fit into my clothes and actually never went to a meal we had been invited too because I felt so bad. But Iam prepared this time!
Guard I had this problem with work last year, along with my commute it was a 13/14 hour day. I loved my job but I just couldnt juggle the kids and felt like I never saw them! So I handed my notice in, Best thing I ever done! My youngest starts school after the summer so I'll look for another job then but my husbands not minded keeping us all. (well not that he has said) lol .

Re: April Buddies
Hehe well done Dora!
I have just realised I am booked in for a wash, cut and blow dry tomorrow afternoon. At the moment I feel I'll be up to it so looking forward to that!!!!
Awww if I had kids I'd like to be able to stay home with them. Personal choice I guess. Lovely if you have the option though, lots of people don't I suppose x

Re: April Buddies
Well done on the shopping front Dora... so far I have bought a new nightdress for the hospital, a new more attractive one for my husband after I am all healed (sales.. get me every time!) and 5 bras in different sizes and 2 in a 38DD which was recommended by my surgeon. I have purchased a v pillow and am contemplating a onesie (although should a plump mum of 2 really be seen in one... not too sure).
Work have just called - want me to go in for a meeting on Monday to discuss my options. I dont think my husband minds keeping me at all - he is v old fashioned so will love having all the housework (although i am a terrible housewife), washing, shopping etc done. It will mean though that he will never lift a finger (I can see it now 'putting the cup in the dishwashers is your job now darling', 'nightfeeds are your job now sweetheart' and 'you can't have a headache tonight dear as I paid for those boobs...')

No headache! Well I suppose all you can do is go in and see what they say. I had applied for flexible working but that's a whole mine field and a different story! Maybe worth thinking about or what the hell take the jump and follow your new career. I'am a big believer in things happen for a reason....

Re: April Buddies
I completely agree - not going to worry about it. Having a few years off with my gorgeous girls is hardly a hardship... just better get access to our joint account so I can carry on with my bra shopping obsession!
How are you doing anyway Dora? Feeling nervous... I am just so excited one minute and then really questioning myself the next... my emotions on the BA are just all over the place..

When I think about all the Ifs, buts and maybe's Iam a complete wreck! But my biggest fear was the after pain, but listening to littlemiss and loclo It might not be as bad as I was thinking. Every now and then I have a what if the worst happens and my kiddies are left without me but I push it to the back of my head. Its about 20 years Ive wanted this done so Its now or never for me. (defo now cose Ive paid) lol

Re: April Buddies
OH MY GOD im next!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Girls it really is so warming to hear how well you're both doing! You 2 alone have made me excited rather than nervous, however i am having unders so dont know if this will be a little more painful. But i keep getting reminded by hubby that i had two pain killer free home births so i think his sympathy is going to be next to none lol.
Stay at home with the kiddies hun, its the best thing... apart from chicken pox week lol, which has totalled my sleep to 6hrs in 3 nights lol. So i am sooo looking forward to 2 weeks bed rest. Thanks for asking hun, little one is still in full swing bless, she has a v.bad case, but shes a tough cookie x

Re: April Buddies
How exciting your next! Have you posted your date on the calendar? Very sad but can't wait to see my name on the banner on the home page!
Glad to hear your children are fighting the dreaded pox. I just had a month of it in feb- went to Venice and my 2 year old came out in spots- she was fine though with it thankfully and we managed to get a doctors note for her so we could fly home- then the day after we came back my other daughter came out in spots- she was only 7 months old bless her. I'm actually glad it's all over now though and thankfully they were too young to complain or itch! Some of my friends came over with their children though so they would catch it!
I have to be honest and say I am looking forward to the bed rest! I've had the last 8 months doing night feeds still so never get more than a few hours sleep at a time....I may be in pain after my BA- but a whole nights sleep....get in!

Re: April Buddies
Good luck Jodi!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!
Morning ladies! Day 3! Welcome to morning boob! Only mild though so far I would say. Loclo I wonder if you will get this tomorrow? I'd say its because I have more feeling in them today than I have had. It didn't hurt, but it felt weird! I would say your best bet is to rise to upright really slowly, a bit at a time letting the blood flow to the area nice and slow to avoid the rush.
Thank goodness for this forum and knowing and being able to mentally prepare yourself for all the weird things! If I didn't know about this it would have freaked me out!
Other than that all good still! Getting my hair done this afternoon! Hooorraaayyy. I can't wait to look 'normal' even if just for a few hours. I also have not seen my OH since Tuesday night so it will be nice not to feel like I am gross lol! :)

Re: April Buddies
Me too! My back was not good this morning, and my bum! Going to get my OH to give me a massage some how tonight. I am also hoping my trip out to the salon will give my body a much needed all over stretch. My body is shocked as I am never this still.
I find sitting with my knees bent up helps lots but I cannot sleep like that sadly!

Re: April Buddies
Thanks melstar! Yes I went 240s after all that and glad I did at the moment. We shall see how much they reduce when the swelling goes! I am measuring them daily just to see how much swelling I actually have had! Not that anyone can use it as much of a guide I guess but its something! And I'm just interested! xx

I was only a 32 c/d, but they were a great shape and had a fake look to them with upper pole volume.
