Re: April Buddies
Thanks Lisa! Can I have a peek at your pics? Thanks!
Brilliant Loclo. I think you're having it about now so you wont get this before but lots of luck.
First night home was fine. I set my alarm to take some nurofen in the night and then my proper pain killers at 6am and went back to sleep so I didn't wake up all empty. Feeling just tender but good and rested. Plan to stay in bed all day.
Will attempt to start my pic trail later on if anyone anyone wants a peek at my little ones x

Re: April Buddies
Morning girls- littlemiss so so glad you are doing so well- what a trooper! What's the pain like on the 1 to 10 threshold? How are you finding moving around? Does it feel weird?
Loclo- missed saying food luck this morning but hopefully your on the over side now- really hope your doing ok x
Jodie- enjoy Belgium and hope you get a nice break before your ba- love the thought of a mini break with surgery- don't know why I didn't think of it!
I just still can't believe this is out month and we are 2 buddies on the other side already! Don't think we can see pictures as we are still newbies but maybe you could change your arvi?
Nerves really kicking in and wondering if it will be worth it in the end- please god I hope so- had my trainer this morning to discuss my post ba workout schedule- been working really hard to get fit and get my excess 3 stone off the last few months - really worried the 6 weeks off is going to put my back and not sure my self esteem could take it.
Please let me be doing the right thing- tell me its worth it littlemiss and loclo! X

Re: April Buddies
We are all doing a booby dance for you Littlemiss and Loclo! HUGE, MASSIVE CONGRATS! So please to hear you are both doing well. You have arrived at boobsville! You were in and out so quick Loclo, better than way than sitting nervous etc!
Does anyone know how long the actual op actually takes?!
What size did you go for in the end Littlemiss? I've changed my mind yet again! it's so good seeing everyone's tickers go down so quickly and change!

I'm ok thanks balletbabe. I'm more uncomfortable than in pain. I'm not in a sports bra as yet, my nurse will put it on me when I'm ready to go home. I absolutly love my size and I'm pleased I chose the 410, 460 would of been to big for my frame. X x

Re: April Buddies
YAY loclo! Welcome back! Congratulations sweetie!
I woke up in my sports bra. I didn't even know I had it done! My surgeon decided on the smaller size after all (240). I'm happy. I am so tiny tho. He said 260s would look really unnatural on me and be too wide. My rib cage only measures 29 inches tho. I don't know how much they will go down, I hope not much cos they are currently perfect!
I would say when I woke as a I came to I had a tiny shooting boob pain, but as soon as I was awake they gave me some liquid morphine to drink. It was ACE. When up in my room I only felt uncomfy when I was shifting around the bed trying to push myself up and things. Otherwise I have to say I only felt it as it wore off at the end of each dose of pain killers, and even then only mild and if I was reaching for something like drink.
Home today I would give it a 1 on the scale and that is only as pills wear off. I promise its not bad at all. Last night I set an alarm for 2am and was feeling SO fine I decided to take 2 ibuprofen instead of my codine pills and I slept right through with no probs. Didn't take codine again til 8am when I wanted to be prepared to get up and stretch my legs. And no sickness feeling. I am eating little and often which seems to keep the pills from upsetting my tummy nicely. I do feel a little bit squiffy/light headed at times tho, which is the drugs of course.
I can feel it in a strange slightly stretched sort of way but not painful. I have in itch on my leftie I am trying hard to ignore, and I had a funny popping sensation when I just tried to sneak a look at my scar. That'll teach me. Be patient and try to move as little as poss on the upper body.

Re: April Buddies
Aww sorry i missed wishing you both well =[ glad to hear that you're both well tho!
Ktwin2 please don't worry; i was starting to feel exactly the same way myself when i was coming back from having my swab but i think mine is a mix of anxiety because only my husband knows i'm having it done. I would have loved to have told my mum but i knew she wouldn't approve and tbh i could be doing without the grief =P
Jodie good luck for yours lovely! Let us know how you get on =D x

Re: April Buddies
Luckily no. I am supposed to be back to work Monday too. Just 10 mins up the road though. Bit worried about being worn out come my interview at 4pm mind. I cannot miss the interview. Its a final stage. If I am still a bit worn out I guess I will have to take the extra day off work. But they don't know I have had anything done lol!
