Itchy incisions driving me crazy!
My incisions under my dressings are soooo itchy tonight. Ice seems to be helping a little. Any other suggestions?
I am sure some other of you lovely ladies must have suffered with this right?
Trying so hard not to scratch!!!!!!
Xxx

Don't put the ice near your incisions babe, only ever on the tops of your boobs. If the itching is really bad babe, then maybe try an anti-histamine. Xx

Itching can be signs of infections but also accompanied with redness so just keep an eye on them hun . If its itching alone with be the healing process. Mine are still numb i cant feel incisions or my boobs lol its so strange i just keep get shooting pains from nerve endings attaching so awful x

Re: Itchy incisions driving me crazy!
I took some antihistamine this morning and that seems to have soothed it. I weirdly have a bite just below my dressings so I think that is part of the problem. And I have no redness anymore. Intend to get itchy a lot anyway because I have an immune system deficiency which flares up when i am unwell or injured. So I am guessing this could be a contributing factor as well x

I'm very itchy today - was going to start a new thread but found this one. I guess it's just healing then. I don't have any redness. No shooting pains either... Is that okay?
Feels weird that such big incisions are doing their thing under a single plaster... I best not think about it too much... Wibble. Xxx
