Morning ladies,
My op is next weds and I expected jitters to hit by now, but I seem to be I seem to be in denial about the op, im not a bit nervous, im only mildly excited.... Has anyone had this?! I'm a bit worried its going to hit me like a train when I get to the hospital at this rate

Awww don't worry about not worrying hun! Enjoy the laid back approach you have!
Just take each day as it comes lovely and if you have this nice, calm approach all the way up to surgery make the most of it lovely. Whilst you're calm you're rational and whilst you're rational you can prepare!
So whilst you're feeling like this take advantage of it hun. Check you have a you need, ask any last minute questions you feel you need and maybe in the february buddy thread you could help ease the nerves of those that maybe aren't doing as well as you are?
Most importantly... Enjoy it Littlewellies!

I felt the same Hun. Didn't really hit me until I was walking up to theatre and then now I still look down and think has this actually happened?!? Are they actually mine. It's all very surreal. But I didn't feel nervous really at all just a bit excited and butterfly-ee. Lol

Im arriving 11:10, id ring nuffield hun and ask them...i doubt they'd screen you for mrsa on the day of the op? Your better to check as your letter might of been lost in the post and you don't want something so simple get in the way of your surgery x
