Sizing the band on a bra by yourself
I was always a 34b but since joining this forum I've learnt that most girls were not a 34 band. I've bought some sports bras in 34e and 34dd. How do I know if the band is the correct size? There on the furthest hook so as the bra stretches I can tighten it, it is very tight but manageable but it does leave a mark. The cups seem tight but being a sports bra they stretch so I guess this is normal x

Check that the centre of the band (between your boobs) is laying flat hun and that the band doesnt ride up on your back. It should sit straight all the way around and should feel snug, not tight and but snug enough for you to just be able to run two fingers underneath it.
The cups on sportsbra, should feel really snug, but not tight so they hurt hun.
As long as its snug but not hurting that should be fine lovely. Xx

Sounds about right, the cups are not uncomfortable at all. One of the bands does go up a bit at the back so in this make should i go a band size up or down? The cups are also a bit roomy where my upper pole is. This is an m and s bra so maybe it's just no good compared to the shock absorber and the tri action extream x

Re: Sizing the band on a bra by yourself
If your bra band is riding up sweetness you need a smaller band. Xx
Re: Sizing the band on a bra by yourself
If the back rides up then the band size is too big, try coming down one band size and see if it lays flat across your back. If the cups are baggy at the top you may need to come down a cup size, although if you are going down a band size, keep the same cup size.
The rule is if you go down a band size you go up a cup size and vice versa.
