Weaned off pain killers Empty Weaned off pain killers

Post by Kurukullachis 17th January 2013, 6:58 pm

I haven't taken any pain killers today in the hope it'll help my bowels regulate more. Just starting to hurt now but don't want to take anything until bed time. Am I expecting too much not to take pain killers this soon after?

I stopped mine on day 5 too for the same reasons. I didn't find it too bad and just took paracetamols instead. Only just getting my bowels back to normal now x

I haven't taken any since Tuesday but haven't felt the need for them. I wasn't sent home with any pain relief have had to get by on nurefen and paracetamol which did the trick. If you feel that you need something for the pain take it no point suffering hun!xx

Just see how you go Kuruk. With having a capsulectomy it can take it out of you sweetness so if you need the stronger pain meds, do take them lovely. Maybe try taking some Senna too if you're having problems going to the loo? Getting yourself more mobile helps lots too. Xx

I have aloe Vera tablets that cleanse the colon I was going to try them, they have probiotics too which would be beneficial from my ABx..

I feel really good most the time
Other than my stitches are itching so much I'm having to sit on my hands! Just think I'm sore because its the end of the day. I just feel like in full up with poo! I have been to the loo but I know there's a whole bunch more in there it's uncomfortable, think ill take those aloe tablets. Senna gives me really bad runs!
