Re: Sooo disappointed!
Are you comfortable with a day case? If not push for overnight for same price, they won't use your room at night. Don't be afraid to tell her what you want, she shouldn't of pushed her luck! Defrost say you've spoken to transform and they offered cheaper for overnight/day whatever you want. They'll take it down!

Re: Sooo disappointed!
Thanks hun! Yeah I def wanted a day case, Im really weird about staying somewhere else at night other than my bed, especially hospitals, cant even do it for a holiday, I get massive panic attacks. I dont know why, only come on the last couple of years, but yeah def want a day case. I might see if they can bring it down a little more nearer the time, but she did say that that was their absolute bottom price, and I think it is cheaper than most other places, for a ba and uplift x

Re: Sooo disappointed!
I received an email this morning from THG saying that the revised price that she gave me, with a discount, bringing the price down to £5400, is only available til the end on jan, and if I dont pay the deposit by the end of jan I have to have to original price of £6090, which that is only available for 30 days! And i wasnt planning on paying for 6 weeks which is when ill have the money, and then pay in full. So I have no idea what they are going to charge me in 6 weeks! Does this usually happen girls, I thought when they gave you a quote, that that was your price, i didnt realise that they had time limits on the quotes, is this usual or are they just being awkward with me? x

Re: Sooo disappointed!
This is what I HATE so much about the larger commercial clinics - the 'pressure' they put on women to book with them, making you believe you're getting 'offers' for a period of time...
These so called 'offers' to lure you in will always be there.
I'd personally walk away and find yourself a surgeon and clinic who actually care more about YOU than about grabbing your money and locking you into a contract before you've even had time to think on it Xx

Re: Sooo disappointed!
It seems like they're being really aggressive business-wise, all that would stress me out massively!! Is there any way you can ask to speak to the surgeon you like again, and ask him how you can contact him privately? I feel like you should have the right to ask to speak to him directly...
I feel like all too often they see this solely as a business opportunity, and don't take into account that it is MEDICINE, and serious surgery, and an extremely emotional and delicate situation!! It makes me really angry. I haven't had anything like this kind of trouble with Mybreast (who I'm going with in the end)
Best of luck with it all sweet, I hope it gets sorted. Don't let yourself be pushed around by people wanting commission and bullies.

Re: Sooo disappointed!
I went private, as i wanted a certain surgeon. I'm in essex, and as the saying goes 'everyone in essex has Dr Carver' haha!
I paid £4750, overnight stay, and two sports bras included.
Don't know if that is expensive, but hearing other friends experiences when they went to big companies, I was very happy with going private and the attention to detail I got. Definitely didn't feel like another number.

Re: Sooo disappointed!
Thanks girls, yes I know, its so rude and getting really irritating! I am going to try my best to see dr hassan privately, I really want him but THG are driving me mad and I would really resent having to turn over a penny to them when they are clearly over charging me and playing games with something that is so important to me, to all of us! If they can accept £5400 on 31st jan, I dont see why they wouldnt be able to accept it 14th feb! I think even £5400 is too much, but i was happy to pay it so i got the surgeon i wanted, but there is no way im paying them £6090 just because i want to pay 14 days later!

Hiya, Sultan Hassan is also on BMI website with surgery at the BMI weymouth hopspital in London, you could try going through them to see what they charge & aftercare etc. They seem better than THG. X

Re: Sooo disappointed!
Well i can honestly say hun that what you experienced there is not what id call a consultation! This is not like buying a new outfit...its surgery! You should be given the time to ask questions and find out about your surgeon and their credentials. To be given the treatment you received i wouldn't even entertain this company or the surgeon. You need to be happy and comfortable with who you choose as they should have your best interests in mind and want to ensure they achieve the outcome you are looking for.
Have you tried my breast? They have great reviews and they don't try t pushy sales technique with you, its all about you and your surgeon which is great...at your consultation you meet your surgeon and only him....no sales gimmicks. X x

Re: Sooo disappointed!
Oh and also if your surgeon was running late and rushed you out the door...what will he do if he is running over on his operation time?? Don't put yourself into the hands of someone who isn't thorough and precise with their work...u don't want a "rushed" operation.
Hope you find a surgeon and company your happy with :-)
James mcdiarmid is a lovely surgeon working for my breast x
