Polyurethane coated furry implants
Hi guys,
Wondering if anyone has any information or experience regarding the above? There doesn't appear to be a huge amount of info out there on them, but I have heard some positive things such as they look and feel more natural than the average implant given a bit of time. Is this correct? I know Mrs Kat, who is highly respected in the field, recommends them to some people and this interests me a lot. Was wondering if anyone minded sharing their pics and pros/ cons? Thank you xx

Re: Polyurethane coated furry implants
from what i'm aware the coating on them makes them grip to the breast pocket so they don't 'drop' like other implants and you get a lot of upper pole with them xx

Re: Polyurethane coated furry implants
my guess would be that if you wanted a really natural look probably not as they'd remain quite round at the top although maybe try and find pics of a year or so onwards and see what you think of the look xx

Re: Polyurethane coated furry implants
They are really sticky so they dont drop and they also significantly reduce the risk of capsular contracture. It also makes the risk of rotation slim to none which is especially important in anatomicals x

Are they along the lines of 'textured' implants? Xx

No it is like a sticky foam that the implant is covered in according to what i have read x
Re: Polyurethane coated furry implants
I'm having 'furry brazilians', my surgeon told me he uses them because of the decreased risk of CC. Remeber fuzzy felt? That's how they look & feel!
Can't comment on having them yet though.

Ahh wow, seriously you could talk boobies everyday for years and learn something new everyday!!.. I'm right in thinking textured implants don't need massaging? Xx

Re: Polyurethane coated furry implants
textured implants dont need massaged as they need to attach to the breast pocket but if ive read right they take a little longer to attach than furry implants. xx

Re: Polyurethane coated furry implants
I have to be honest I really don't like the sound of these implants, from my research I came across this info from a surgeon.

Re: Polyurethane coated furry implants
See I have textured implants have been told I do need to massage them! All the different info is confusing, but that's what he told me to do so I'm massaging away! Lol x

Re: Polyurethane coated furry implants
I have heard some questionable things about these implants but also some really amazing things about them which makes me wonder...I know CC Kat recommends them and she is very reputable. They seem to eventually look and feel more natural than standard implants, but that takes a long time and I have read the panicked posts of some people who are in that anxious waiting phase and their boobs look very high up and unnatural. I think I'll pass on them. There's not enough research out there about them to really reassure me....

Re: Polyurethane coated furry implants
I have the furry brazilians and I love mine, very low risk of sagging and bottoming out and lowest rates of cc. They have been around for years now but not many surgeons in the UK are trained in their use so they are not as popular in the uk but are very popular in australia. There was a tenous link made between the coating and cancer but on reading the research conducted on this it was found not to be a risk at all. Mine move, are now softening loads and although they took longer to start softening I am very happy now. I have a very natural look but I can make them look fake and push them up if I want to (like in my avi!) so I get the best of both worlds. The implants themselves dont drop as they adhere to the pocket but the gel still sinks to the bottom of the implant and my upper pole has definately gone down since I had my surgery 4 months ago. No implant is 100% safe as you are putting a foreign body inside you and with this comes risks but when you read the impartial evidence you will see that they are no more risky that any other implant and in clinical trials the incidence of implant rotation, bottoming out and cc is all reduced with these implants. x

Hi 5stonedown,
That's quite a recommendation, thank you. Do you think these type of implants look more natural than normal implants? That is my main concern x

Re: Polyurethane coated furry implants
I dont think they look more or less natural that other implants, they are gel implants at the end of the day so they are the same as any other gel implant, the only difference is that they stick to the pocket so they dont drop so the surgeon places them where they are meant to stay so you dont get that really high look immediately post op and you see your final result much sooner, its just the softening that takes longer.

Re: Polyurethane coated furry implants
Hmm...I suppose you're right. I have just been reading far too many horror stories and seeing pictures of implants stuck on the chest like Victoria Beckham's but the polyurethane ones still interest me despite this. Do you have a picture trail 5stonedown? xx

This might sound really silly but do they differ to other implants in when you lie down are they more false looking? X

Mine dont fall to the sides much when I lie down but I dont think they look anymore fake than other implants.

Thank you for your reply I think it's just in my head I've got the idea of them sticking like Velcro not being able to move at all x
