Pre op jitters?
Hi all BA booked for Friday and I am so excited but the last few days I have been snappy, short tempered and extra emotional! Almost PMT but I know it shouldn't be! I have been having dreams about miss matched boobs, implants falling out etc just generally feel a bit off. It could be that I have given up smoking but am thinking it's more to do with my BA. Now it's something I have always always wanted is it normal to be feeling like this??!xx

It's perfectly normal, I felt sick with nerves on my ba day, I felt like my stomach was in my throat but believe me everything will be just fine x

Re: Pre op jitters?
Everyone copes in different ways. I was horrible and irritable after though. I would say the giving up smoking probably has alot more to do with it than you think. Complications are rare, so try to relax and enjoy it! Good luck for Friday. Xx

Re: Pre op jitters?
yip sounds like me before mine, i was fine the day before and the morning of my op but my daughter was playing up so my husband had to go home and then i had a 3 hours wait on my own and i felt so so sick
got to the wee room to get anesthetic and i wanted to ask them to let me go home but they knew i had a fear and gave me a tiny amoung of anesthetic and i felt soooooooooooo relaxed and the guy was so loverly and calmed me down and then put me under
you will be fine xx

Thanks guys!! I'm petrified about having a GA and am having irrational thoughts about it!

Re: Pre op jitters?
Try not to worry babes i felt exactly the same! my emotions where everywhere and i kept snapping at people! glad everyone knew it was because i was soooooo petrified!
Also i was more scared of the GA than anything else and kept thinking OMG what if i don't wake back up and crying! (the nurses and anaesthetist were laughing at me saying this on the way down to theatre!!!!) there's nothing to worry about and i think it feels quite nice
Try not let yourself get too stressed babes and just thing of having your lovely new girls when you wake up x x x
