hi, so my husband leaves the house at 8.30am for work, he will get Ellie (who is 2) ready before he leaves and Mia (who is 7) can get herself ready. I need to bump the pram over a small step out the front door then down 3 steps, or leave the pram outside and lift Ellie in, to do the school run in the am and afternoon, its only a 3 min walk but she wouldnt manage it as she has cerebal palsy and sometimes tires really easy

then im in the house with Ellie all day, she needs her physio 2 times that im in and another 2 later on its just really some light stretching exercises we do so should be ok main worry is changing her bum she just hates it lol

is this ttoo much at just over 2 weeks post op xx

Aww tink it's daunting isn't it? You should be ok but listen to your body if things feel too much ask for help. I'd say get the pushchair outside and down steps before you put her in and keep your elbows as close to your sides as you can if its uncomfy pushing. Even get your elder daughter in to help a little if you can make it fun getting wipes out or hold a leg each. I struggled with nappy changes caus my boy is huge and he hates nappy change too he really fights it and trying to hold him still pulled me a bit fingers crossed for an easy day for you xx

Does your daughter have any school friends whose mums who wouldn't mind helping you out for a week or two babe?

It'll probably seem quite hard at first but then once you get yourself back into a routine you'll be OK. Scatty has given great advice and nappy changes... Just watch for any kicks hun, or maybe just use some pull-ups during the day, so its easier for you to let your daughter stand and step into the pants rather than risk her laying and hurting you, then your hubby can do the nighttime nappy for you when he gets home then can't he...xx

As thengirlsnhave said Hun just listen to your body but I'm sure you'll be fine you just over 3weeks tink (23 days) , great advise about pull ups or I just give my little girl something to occupy her whilst I change her nappy as she now can sometimes put up a fight! I find she likes playing with the baby wipes pack, whilst I get on with it! Maybe give her a little book or something to look through whilst u do the change? X
Good luck for today I'm sure you'll be just fine x
