trying out implants at consultation
Hi. After reading alot of posts on here it seems that a lot of ladies had their initial consultation with their surgeon and were able to 'try' out implants in their bra to see what they looked like. I wasn't offered this delight! Was just told to try out the rice boobs to see which I preferred but to be honest couldn't really tell. Maybe I should have another go!

If you aren't happy with any consultation hun book another one. You can see different surgeons clinics until you find the right one for you.
Re: trying out implants at consultation
Thanks hun x I think I am happy with my surgeon just having a few doubts as normal!! P'raps I should have another cons just to compare (shame the first one isn't free!!!) x

go and see your surgeon as much as you need to gun. you're paying them a lot of money, so you want to make sure you're happy.
Re: trying out implants at consultation
I agree with misf1 hun, if you have concerns book another consultation to go over size issues again and do request that you want to try 'implants' for sizing too.
If you still have niggles hun, then I'd pay for another consultation with another surgeon myself, or ask the clinic if you can see another surgeon for free seeing as you've already paid for a consultation with them...
The price of your consultation will generally come off your overall surgery costs, so if need be you pay to see another surgeon, you'll lose the cost of one consultation yes, but.... You'll have peace of mind when you finally make your choice after having more than one consultation to compare and there's really no price on peace of mind is there babe. Xx

I never tried on any implants Hun. I trust my surgeon knows exactly what I want and what will suit xx

Re: trying out implants at consultation
I would defiantly go back and ring up and say you want to try the implants on to help you decide. I went back just to try them on and decided to go down a size and I'm glad I did. It got rid of my major nerves and worries and I'm very happy with my result. It's important that your 100% with your decision xx

If your not 100% then I would def see another surgeon. Your going to pay a few thousand pounds to have your BA so a hundred or two to feel at ease with your surgeon isn't really anything :) xx

Re: trying out implants at consultation
Deffo have more consultations than 1 anyway just to give you something to compare to chick. I'm pretty sure i've found my consultant (i got to try on implants and was in there an hour, i was even 3 hours late for my consultation but he still saw me bless him =] ) but i'm going to book a couple of more consultations just to check. More for your own peace of mind than anything and hopefully if you get a consultation with someone else you might get to try on an implant that your 1st surgeon suggested anyway good luck  x
