getting the all clear for wires
Is there a criteria? Do you have to have dropped properly or is it to do with incisions or neither xx

Re: getting the all clear for wires
Your incisions and breast positioning will be taken into consideration by your surgeon hun. If all is well you'll be given the all clear to wear wires. 'Generally' this is around 6 weeks post-op but it does seem that we're seeing women have to wait 12 weeks more now...xx
Re: getting the all clear for wires
I emailed my PCC and she said 'should' be at 6 week check so I suppose I will see Tuesday. God ill be gutted if I have to wait til 12 weeks, thank you cookie xx

Your PCC won't have a clue hun. They have no medical training are not qualified to advise you on your surgery lovely.
Fingers crossed for Tuesday! xxx

Re: getting the all clear for wires
I had to wait 12 weeks. It went faster than I thought and I had no problems adjusting to wired bras as I had healed a lot more than at 6 weeks so I didnt have the problems that some girls get when going into wires for the first time....

Re: getting the all clear for wires
Whichever it is just think like you said, in the grand scheme it isn't long at all. My Auntie had to wait 6 months for hers...God knows why x
Re: getting the all clear for wires
At my 3 month check my surgeon told me not to wear wires...EVER!!! I have since realised he was putting his personal preference onto me, he doesn't like wires full stop on any boobs. I have eased myself into wires since my 3 month check...from what I read a lot of ladies wait 3 months x

Playboy that's what m thinking these last 6 weeks have flown.
And 6months!!! That's a reeeaaally long time!
I read your post about that zebra, not really fair of him I think he could have at least reassured you or made it clear that I was his preference to stop you worrying xx
