Re: March Buddies
How exciting!!!, a week tomorrow for me :)
Welshdoll, so ur nurse told u not to get one that does up in front? My nurse suggested this surgical one that costs +£30 but I'd prefer to get a cheaper one if tried and tested. She mentioned that the seams inside might rub against the stitches so best to get a seamless one that goes below the stiches... Any experience, advice?? X

Re: March Buddies
Hey!
God I really don't know everyone seems to given different advice... I was all set on buying a macom but she was quite firm and said it would be a waste of money and the PS doesn't recommend ones that do up at the front! I should have asked why in hindsight but she was super busy so i didn't want to bombard her with questions! I have read on here somewhere that u can put a panty liner on the seams if they rub?!?
The ones a grabbed today were only £6 and feel super comfy with my rice boobs! so if I find they are no good I haven't wasted loads on them anyway xxx

Re: March Buddies
Yeah! It was the Macom she recommended! I would think that if they do up front it would be easier and less movement needed to do it up, which is what we should aim for, so I'm curious why she'd recommend against it... Maybe in case the fastening rubs against the scars???
I saw 2 for £12 in sports direct and was set on buying those, but now not so sure, will have a look in M&S x

Re: March Buddies
It's a funny vein like thingy under the skin, it looks like something is too tight and it's pulling. it's quite common after BA, something to do with things mending back together I think! Have a look on the topic search, there's quite a bit on there xx I'm going to put some pics of it on my picture trail xx

Oh I'm not allowed to touch mine yet, I've got to wait until I see my surgeon in 4 weeks. It's weird isnt it, looking down and seeing boobies. Can I ask what size you started? I'm so nosey x

Re: March Buddies
I know angie, this site has really helped me, I've learnt so much. And it's all things that would probably have me on the phone to my surgeon in a panic, but all very normal things associated with a BA. I will pm you my pic trail info as soon as I have uploaded the new pics.

Re: March Buddies
My nurse said not to put anything on it till after 6 weeks, cuz some oils can actually thin the skin and make it worse x
