Re: March Buddies
Do you have someone going with you? My sister is coming with me, I picked her because if i start being a bit of a baby she will laugh at me ( she's 14 years younger than me) and I won't have that Lol x I wouldn't take my bf he will be more nervous than me. I havnt had a GA since I was about 7 and can't remember it.

I'm going on my own, feel better doing it by myself, altho BF is coming after I've had the surgery and is dropping me off! I'm always more confident and less nervous when I'm on my own, no idea why lol!x

Re: March Buddies
Your so brave going by yourself xx I understand why some prefer to do by themselves though!! It's personal preference, isn't it. However you feel happier!! All will be fine xx

He wants to see me before I can re book. The nearest slot he has is 15th march. He dose have an open night on the 28th feb though so I think I am going to go to that with my husband and hope he will have a quick chat with me at the end so I can reasure him I want to do it. I think a pre med is def a brillant idea, wish I had asked and probably will ask next time xx

Re: March Buddies
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek. 4 weeks tomorrow!! Rang up and paid today and also bit the bullet and told my mum!! She didn't seem too phased, just said she hopes it doesn't interfere with uni work but i don't think she'd say anything if it did bother her she's not really like that.

Re: March Buddies
Yey! I need to ring up and pay this week - so much money! :(
I haven't told my parents, I'm kind of hoping they somehow don't notice. Really don't know how they'd react!x

i'm getting mine done during my uni easter hols and down in london so will need to stay at my mums to recover (she's in herts, i'm in w.yorks atm) so kind of had to tell her! haven't told my dad & i don't think she will either - it'll prob do him more harm than good cos he's v old/religious/conservative and he'll never notice anyway!

Don't worry hannah I haven't told my parents yet I'm not sure I'm going to, also hoping they don't notice. I'm staying in a hotel with a friend for a few days after my op xxx

Re: March Buddies
My parents live at the other side of the country so I only see them every few months so as long as I don't turn up in really tight clothes they'll probably just think I've put on a bit of weight!xx
