Earliest time for underwires.....
Hey all,
I'm only 6 days post op so this is a very premature question but what's the earliest anyone has been allowed to wear underwires? Or at least a mom wired bra?
Getting a bit bored of these sports bras already!! Lol

Re: Earliest time for underwires.....
Wearing wired bras is based on YOUR healing and the instruction your surgeon feels will give you the best possible result Lucy, so anyone else's time for wearing wires wont matter to 'you' hun.
Some women are advised to wear wires from day one! Some 2 weeks post-op, some 4/6/12. It all depends on your personal healing.
Wearing wires before you're ready could affect the positioning of the implant or irritate the incision causing possible infection, so its best to ALWAYS ignore what others are advised by their surgeons and follow only the advise given by your own, because your post-op instructions are specifically tailored to get you the best result possible for YOU hun. Re: Earliest time for underwires.....
Thanks cookie..... I would be lost without you.....
I haven't actually asked th question of my surgeon or nurse.... Totally forgot when I was at my check up yesterday.
I'm back at the clinic on Wednesday though so I will ask them if there is any mention in my notes or whether i will have to wait until I see my surgeon in a few weeks.....
Hopefully my lucky recovery will mean I don't have to wait too long :)xxx
