Underwires
Ladies when do u think it's ok to dive in with the underwires? Surgeon said its ok from 6 weeks to wear whatever is comfortable but I was trying to hold off as I know most of you girls do.
Will it damage them? Desperate to wear my new Ann summers ones as they mould around and feel supportive rather than leaving a gap at the bottom like my soft cup tshirt bras.
I've also just bought a pink lace Calvin Klein one that looks similar to the AS one in my avi!
Wanna dive in but not at the expense of any damage... Any words of wisdom? Xx

Re: Underwires
My surgeon said 6 weeks too but I only wear them if I'm going somewhere special. When I first wore one I ached so put my comfy one back on.
Thought you said you wasn't going to buy too many :ral:xx
I too would like to no if you can damage them x

Re: Underwires
If your surgeon has said its ok, the only reason not to would be discomfort. I pretty much went straight in, full days at 8wk, others find they need to break them in an hour at a time. Its up to you. But you wont be doing any damage.

Re: Underwires
I didn't get the ok from surgeon till nearly 5 months but that's just him, mostly 6 to 12 weeks is longest I've heard other than me. I was naughty and at 4 months wore one wire (wonderbra) to a wedding. It killed me, felt bruised for days so didn't wear it again. I have one lace wire that fit when I brought it but doesn't any longer which I wore for half a day, it got uncomfortable so changed. And now my new one. I've had it on for 2.5 hours and am already thinking it's time to don the genie. I'm think I'm going to be one of these ladies who's got to break them in bit at a time. If your comfortable to be in wires all day then go for it xx
