Nope poor cookie 5 weeks!! But yes norm is one week, 10 days or up to 2 weeks Hun ! X can't get scars or dressings wet until you have first post op check and even then if they say it's ok albeit your healing is going ok x

I'm allowed to shower from day 1 my surgeon said as he uses dissolvable stitches xx

You'll find a lot of girls have dissolvable stitches Hun but still can't get them wet! ESP with dressing on you can't get dressings or insions wet because of high increase of infection x

Your surgeon must use glue over the dissolvable stitches as a waterproof dressings hun. Dissolvable stitches mustn't get wet until the wound has started to heal. Xx

You can have shallow baths... If you've got a bath (I don't) as long as your boobs don't get wet you're fins. I just have flannel washes in the sink.

Arr don't have a bath!! Mind you could go to my mothers!.. Who cares ill be pretty much house bound for a fortnight anyway lol xx
