Awww Sam, it can take months babe. I was over 3 months post-op before I felt I got my life back from my boobs...

You could well be sooner, but I'd look to the 3 month marker to avoid being disappointed sweetness xx

I felt much more comfortable at around the 8 week mark :thumbs:

Agree with all the above, it can take ages, but i would say that it suddenly gets loads better, u will suddenly realise it doesnt bother u at all. Also, I took an antihistamine a day for the itching, it made SO much difference, I found all the bandages etc had irritated my skin too much to cope with without extra meds!

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forum and looking for support and information.

I am currently at the decision stage or should I say I know I want something done regarding boobs but not sure whether to have just a lift or lift with implants. Seen two surgeons so far Transform and Claremont Hospital. Both have said I need the lift (I knew this). I am a 34c (which is not a bad size) but they are more like deflated balloons, they have lost their fullness.

My family is complete so will not have worries regarding further pregnancies, once surgery is done.

it depends what look u want hunni y dont u look at some pics then when u see what u like take it to your surgeon and see how he would achieve it ie with or with out implants. xx

Hi Kez, welcome to the forum. I haven't had a lift, just a straight forward BA, so I don't really know too much personally. I would really research your surgeons hun, and the clinics and make sure they specialise in plastic surgery rather than just surgery, as a lift or lift with implants is a lot more complicated than a straight forward BA, I would show pictures of how you want your boobs to look and discuss the pros and cons with your surgeon. One of them being, if you have implants there will be further surgery ahead as you will need to replace the implants every 10 years, with the lift only you would probably forgo the further surgery in future.

I felt nearly myself again after two and a half weeks and I had the same procedure as you! I really did feel completely fed up, then before three weeks post op mark I just felt completely different! I'm nearly four now and I'm back to my normal self!!! Good luck honey!

Trust me it will be worth it. Keep going :) xx
