when do they start to look normal???

Had uplift and unders 18 days ago - still very sore and very slightly swollen, had dressings off - but just wondered when do they start to look normal - mine are almost like there squashed a little at the front hard to explain - you can tell when you look at them sideways - will they drop and soften. Am i being impatient???
