Stupid question - uplift
Hi
Sorry to ask a really simple question. I'm being referred for BA for asymmetry on the NHS. Not seen the surgeon yet, but I don't 100% understand what an uplift is - does it always involve moving your nipple?
I think even with implant on my small side my nipple will still be higher on that side. Would uplift of the big side correct that, and does uplift always include repositioning your nipple?
Thats something I'm scared of having. Seems so strange.
Thanks

Re: Stupid question - uplift
There are no stupid questions here hunni
A full anchor uplift does involve repositioning the nipple to a higher level on the breast and T shape incision coming from the nipple down to the breast crease and along the breast crease, excess skin is cut away and tightened for a firmer, perkier look.
I had dreadful assymetry after one of my implants ruptured hun and had an uplift to correct the damage, I'm thrilled with the results! My boobs are now symmetrical, both nipples are well aligned and they're full and perky.
You've nothing at all to be scared of hun, the results an uplift gives you are fantastic, you won't look back hunni! xx

Thanks for the reply cookie. I guess I'll wait and see what the surgeon says. Thanks
