mind blowing in manchester
Hi All
Ive just been for 2 consultation in Manchester, MYA and Harley medical, them Mr Marando next week.
But its a mind field who to go with, loved my mya consultation but didn't get to see a surgeon, harley gave me a good inspection and the nurse recommended a reduction, uplift with no implant (perfect !) but both had good sale pitches....
Any body got some feedback from Manchester area ???

Re: mind blowing in manchester
Have you only had consultations with nurses or patient care coordinators ?
Bear in mind they are ONLY sales women Hun and have no medical training or surgery training!
A cosmetic or plastic surgeon will be the only one to give you a true recommendation based on seeing you Hun, x

No nurse is qualified to be advising cosmetic procedures lovely. The only person who you should take advise from for the surgery you're looking to have is a 'qualified plastic surgeon'
A qualified plastic surgeon specialises in this field, its taken them years of training to be able to consult you on your procedures. A nurse has no training in these cosmetic procedures at all to be able to make such suggestions lovely.
Bad play by the clinics hun! They're simply saving surgeons time by suggesting the possible procedures and get you to book because books are filling up fast on the run up to Christmas.
Never trust a clinic!
Trust your surgeon!
Then and only when you've found your surgeon think about the clinic and its aftercare babe.
The patient care co-coordinators don't matter, they change positions like the wind and as mrsball says, they are just sales women. They don't matter when considering surgery hun. Xxx

Re: mind blowing in manchester
Totally agree with the above. I saw a patient co ordinator at MYA and thought she was lovely and I felt confident in the company and I (stupidly) booked before I'd seen a surgeon!! When I did see the surgeon I hated him and luckily I managed to get my money back. I then did my research and went with a reputable surgeon and there wasnt a middle man in sight just me and the surgeon!!
