300/340cc overs?! Is this normal?

Hi

I'm 5ft 6 size 8/10 on top and 10/12 on bottom 32b at the mo had my last consultation Thursday and surgeon said he could fit a 300cc easily but may struggle with 340cc but can try on the day anyway but if they don't fit he will have to insert the 300cc's. He also said that coz I don't have much skin in that area that I should have overs. Feel a little bit confused at the moment as thought smaller people had to have unders? And seems most people on here have unders and a lot larger implants than me when they seem to be a lot smaller than me too (dress size and cup size). I am happy and trust the surgeons opinion as he is the professional after all, but can anybody help/ advise me on this?

It's very possible that although you see some smaller women than yourself possibly with bigger boobs than yourself that they have no or less breast tissue to act as a cushion to cover the implant whereas you have.

If you have enough breast tissue babe then overs are generally recommended, no matter how small you are.

If you have tuberous breasts also overs are generally a surgeons preferred choice to use there too.

If you're very concerned though babe it would be advisable to seek the opinion of another surgeon just so you have another consultation to compare with so you know you're making the right choices. Xx

Is it the only consultation you have had?maybe the surgeon has reasons for this Hun

Yeah this is the only consultation I've had. I'm not worrying really, just wanted an outside opinion to see what you thought really. I trust the surgeons thoughts, but kinda thought he woulda given me unders. My two close friends have recommended me so I am comfortable in my decision.
But I think your right cookie, he said I have enough tissue to hide the implants I think i just didn't believe him as I'm a very small b cup!
Have been reading everyone's before and after stats and there's a massive range. Also did the rice boobies tonight to see what the 300cc would be like and look quite good :) OH deff thinks so xxx

You don't have to have big boobs lovely to have enough breast tissue and if your surgeon feels there's enough there and you trust him I really wouldn't worry about it hun.

It's always best never to compare anybody else's surgery plan or indeed recovery to your own. We're all different and our pre-op and post-op instruction and care will be tailor made for YOU hun and no-one else anywhere is like you. Xx

i have literally NO boobies there lol so thats why i wanted unders and the surgeon agreed that it would be best for me, I did try 380cc and he said that he recommends 360cc as he thinks 380cc might have some rippling so I trust him, his "9-5" is breast reconstruction and wkend job BA's lol so yeah I def trust him

Yeah I'm mega excIted now! I'm staying overnight and Boyf is picking me up next day and were stayIng at my mums (mums know best!)
Think coz I already have enough breast tissue to cover the implants and not much room to fit much else in is why I'm not having massive implants lol!
Definitely recommend the rice boobies with your sports bra as an insight to the end result Stars
