2weeks post op questions
Hi all I'm now 2 weeks post op , my scars looks wise are healing very well, I hardly get morning boob at all but both boobs are very tender to touch and the pain if they get knocked is a lot like banging one when its that beautiful time of the month lol. Nipples are still numb .
They are nice shape but still really hard and tight, when do they start to soften?
My left scar is quite smooth but numb above and I can feel the edge of implant under both I think. My right scar is VERY lumpy bumpy and thick it looks and feels like implant is lower but could just be scar tissue is all this normal for my post op time?? Xx

Re: 2weeks post op questions
Very normal hun, it can take a year to be fully healed from a BA. You may notice they start to soften and drop but it could be 3-6 months before there is a big difference. Scars will heal day by day and they should be less scabby in a few weeks.
Re: 2weeks post op questions
Mine took a little while to soften and even now they're still not as soft as they can be. Give it another couple of weeks and you'll see them change , they will change everyday/week for a few months yet.
As for lumpy scar, totally normal especially at 2weeks post op Hun. It will flatten out and smooth in months and months to come xxx as you say it's just scar tissue. When you have your 6 week check as about massaging the scars with bio oil to help smooth them xxx

If it hurts Hun, don't do it, do it when your ready and feel comfatable. It isn't nescarilly to massage them. I never did 1st ba and they flattens and faded to the smallest scars ever! Xx
Just listen to your body and if it hurts don't do it xxx

Re: 2weeks post op questions
Sounds like you're healing we'll babe... As for the lumpy scars, you'll find as you massage them and break down all that scar tissue they'll start to flatten out over time.
As long as you've had the all clear from your surgeon/nurse to use moisturiser on your scars, if you use firm circular motions along them it helps to break them down babe.
The tenderness, hardness and tight feeling are very normal in your recovery at 2weeks post-op... It takes at least 3 months before you start to see any real significant changes babe and then a further 3 months possibly before your boobs start to fully soften and gain full movement, even if you 'think' you get that earlier, 6 months really is a milestone when again you see significant changes and they continue healing until a year post-op hun.
So at just 2 weeks post-op, you're so early in your recovery babe... The best is yet to come xx
