Re: Glue instead of stitches?
I have a friend who had glue rather than stitches and they have healed really, really well! She said her surgeon preferred glue because she would be less likely to need drains xx

Re: Glue instead of stitches?
Mine only uses glue and said I won't have drains or will be highly unlikely too.
He wants me to wash the wounds daily but just be careful.
Nice to know they do heal well :)

Re: Glue instead of stitches?
Did your surgeon use disolveable stitches too? I've heard of these stitches used with glue over the top as a waterproof dressing?
Re: Glue instead of stitches?
I had stitches underneath and inside and then glue to the skin and I have healed really well! I had an uplift too so I have scars around the nipple and down from the nipple to the crease and the scars are 100% flat and the line is so faint you can barely see it and I'm only 11 weeks post op!

Yes thats what I am having internal stitches and glue over the top.
How are you feeling two days after? Hope your healing well :) Not sure I will be examining them too much for same reasons PS did say will have to wash wounds really well each day I am sure that will cause me panic that I will do some damage lol xx

Feeling great thanks :), the incisions are barely even noticeable and have caused me any bother at all! It's great to because it means you don't have to get any stitches removed which I've had done before and didnt find it all that plesent! How long have you got to go now doll? Xx
