Uncomfortable sports bra..

It felt fine yesterday but today my ribs and stomach seem to have doubled in size and feels like the bands digging in a bit to one of my incisions even though I can get fingers under the front of band... At the moment I've put an unused washing up small sponge in between just for a break :heehee:
Do you think it will fit better in a few days? It's only on one size or do you think I need a bigger cup size sports bra? I'm sure a bigger band size would be too big xx

Mais I started of an A cup & the exact same bra your wearing fits me snug. My guess is you need to go up in size!

Not sure hun without seeing. Just logically doesn't go in my head you started bigger & had bigger implants & fit the same bra lol so thought I'd share :P

I did wonder when you said you were in a 34DD sports bra as I started off 2 cups smaller than you and had the same size implants and I'm in a 34DD that fits perfectly. I thought you would end up bigger than a 34DD but then everyone is different so you never know. Are you well enough to get out to the shops? I'd go and try on some bigger bras babe. Either a 36DD to account for the swelling or maybe a 34E. What brand sports bra are you wearing now? xx

Triumph. I am well enough but getting out with the 2 babies tomorrow might be a bit much. It feels fine on my back so think ill see about 34e. Maybe if my mum can pop out and get one xx

Aww hunny. they do look much bigger than a DD i think you def need to go up a size at least. hope you find a better one tomorrow. don't strain yourself too much in town tho xx

Do you have any bra expanses babe?

If you don't they're cheap enough to pick up on amazon or in lingerie shops and you can just add them to your bra to make the band bigger whilst the swelling has kicked in.

If you don't have anything and are desperate. You could always cut the clasps off an old bra and attach those to your bra for now. Xxx

Im confused i measured round my ribs just now andit came out 30inches. I need to get down there asap tomorrow so uncomfortable :( xx

My bra started off pretty tight around the band and it was driving me nuts rubbing against my incisions, so I've put some cotton pads along the incision to ease the pain a bit. I have found that since the swelling has gone down it's not as tight, though, but it still is a little painful. But your boobs do look bigger than a DD (lucky you haha :)) so maybe it is too small?

Cookie I went off to do that last night then realised I'm at my mums and have bought no bras with me lol :heehee: off down the shops quickly this morning just going to jump out the car xx

I've got a 32e as the shop woman said to get feels better round my boobs but I'm still not comfortable maybe it's just where incisions are sore but I'm not used to it xx

Did you buy the expander a hun?

If your still uncomfortable around the band it could be due to rib pain. I don't know why we get rib pain after surgery but it can be quite unpleasant! Maybe try popping your 1st sports bra back on and pop a sanitary towel or a panty liner (stick side against the bra) against your incisions so they act as a cushion for you to relieve the pressure from that area. Xx

I got a new sports bra Ive had it on a little while now and feel like it fits better. Think it was the cup. Although im confused as Ive gone from 34dd to 32e which i thought was the same size but it does feel better. Got to send back my other one that i got now to change over. Such a pain. How was your appt yesterday xx

The cup size is the same hun but the band size is different hun.
