Tender boobs! AND asymmetry question!?
Hi all,
Boobs have been feeling fine lately, but for the last day or so the bottom of them and the cleavage area have become quite tender (also I wonder if my aereola is slightly swollen ?) Just wondering if anyone else has had this?
Also.....are there any post-BA ladies who had slight asymmetry pre-op (but not enough for a different sized implant!?)
I've been going through stages of unhappiness about my odd boobs, right is Lower and a different shape!
I know that they can't completely correct asymmetry, but its so noticeable, I'm starting to dislike them! :-(

Re: Tender boobs! AND asymmetry question!?
I had one boob slightly bigger pre op, and it's slightly bigger still, but it's not bothering me . I just wondered if your period is due which may explain the tender boobs? Looking at your Avi your boobs look great xx you are normally so positive , don't like to read you feel like this xxx it is still early days . If it was me, and I was worrying, I would ring my clinic for a chat xxx

Hi hun, just as the other ladies have said , I see absolutely nothing wrong in your pics, they are amazing. You are still fairly early days and still have changes. We are all over critical when we first get them and look for imperfections that are not there. Try not too worry and remember there are women who would kill to have your gorgeous boobs xx

Re: Tender boobs! AND asymmetry question!?
Thanks for your replies ladies
I don't know I'm just feeling a bit hormonal I think! (Jakki I had never thought if that- my boobs were never tender before, but then I hardly had any!!)
I just look at them naked and they're so odd!!
Everyone's changes there avi's....you all look great!!

Re: Tender boobs! AND asymmetry question!?
Often there are time when our boobs start feeling better that we can overdo stuff without even realising it hun and this can cause tenderness in your boobs and sometimes swelling too. Sometimes they can ache as well. It's just so easy to forget they're that although the outside looks good, inside the breast they are still very much continuing to heal for up to a year.
I doubt there's anything wrong lovely, but if you are concerned, do give your clinic a call and have them checked out sweetness.
As for you seeing asymmetry at this stage, I had severe asymmetry caused by a rupture and my boobs looked awful whilst healing. I had one larger than the other, one seemed like it was heading for my armpit, they were wonky, you name it, I had it! Lol. But at 3 months post-op everything changed and I then had perfect symmetry and my boobs were the exact same size. I felt exactly as you do now and cried many times through my recovery thinking that was it for it. Seeing other women happy with their great results and then taking my bra off and seeing all these problems was probably the worst, but all does settle down eventually lovely. You're still very early days. They will get better hun. Xx
Re: Tender boobs! AND asymmetry question!?
Thanks Cookie, it's a Long journey isn't it!?!
I do prefer them SO much more then before, it's just I look at them and one seems lower and a differnt shape and also points slightly outwards!
I hope they do even up like you said, it's so hard but I must stop staring at them lol

Re: Tender boobs! AND asymmetry question!?
I'm hoping this extract from my boobie diary will help you feel better hun
That's how bad my boobs looked hun. I'm honestly not exagerating to make you feel better, that is a true extract and my boobs evened out perfectly. So stay positive hun. It honestly is still early days. Xx
Also as my swelling is subsiding, the differences in my breasts are becomming more and more aparent as the days pass.... I understand that what Mr Selvaggi had to work with pre-op must have been very difficult for him and I don't doubt for a single second that he did the best he possibly could with what he had, leftie is sooooooooooo much better looking now than before! but I am upset that they aren't the same, I just can't help it, if it was just a minor difference, I think I could cope, but it's getting worse. Right breast sits beautifully and is lovely and full, but left has dropped further and has fallen more toward the armpit and is very very soft, in comparrison to the right, it looks almost deflated - again! But without the swelling this time...
I could never wear a bikini like this, because the right has fullness all round the breast and left doesn't seem to have any fullness to the inside of the breast at all, so without a good supportive bra I seem to have a one sided cleavage! I really do feel like a right whinger, but to be honest, at the moment, I'm no better off now than I was before having this re-op, I just could not leave the house without having to disguise the differences.

Re: Tender boobs! AND asymmetry question!?
Feeling ok, I'll get there eventually!
It's probably the insides healing or something.
How are you?
Can't believe it's been over 2 months since we got our boobies!

Re: Tender boobs! AND asymmetry question!?
Not been on for a while, life takes back over! But I'm having same problems. One of mine defo bigger than other and lower, they have changed so much in the last 7 weeks but I'm really worried that this difference will not change.
My boobs have also gone quite hard and tender this last week, may be because my periods due but wasn't like this last two periods. Is this normal too?
Thanks x

Re: Tender boobs! AND asymmetry question!?
Hi Emily,
Not sure about the being due thing....may explain the tenderness though!?
My lefty is quite tender all around the cleavage/nipple area!
Hopefully the boobs will even out soon, as some of the ladies on her said, they can take up to a year to settle!
Fingers crossed for us both.
