I didn't think I would be nervous

I've been excited the whole time, then I got my cold and resigned myself to not getting it done now I'm pretty much fine but feel sick with nerves.... And still worried they won't operate even though I'm fine need to finish of tidying, putting washing away and packing my bag. Hopefully I'm a bit more relaxed when everything's done xx

I was pretty sick with a stuffy nose and sore throat before my BA, but I drank tons of water/tea with honey/water with honey and lemons/gargled salt water...basically anything I could think of to feel better and it pretty much went away for the most part the day before the BA. It was tough not being able to drink anything after midnight because my throat was still a bit sore, but if you're feeling fine and you don't have a fever, I don't see why they'd cancel it on you. I did wake up with a sore throat after my surgery, and the first thing I asked the nurse was if I could have the Halls cough drops that were in my purse and they let me have it which felt amazing haha.

The worst part is leading up to the whole procedure, but once you're put out and you wake up, it's like a great relief comes over you and you're like "that was it"? Then the excitement sets in that you toughed it out and did it, and that the healing process can now begin. I'm so happy I got it done, sore boobies and back n all!

It's completely normal to feel nervous but try not to worry you will be in safe hands and just think when you wake up you will have amazing new boobs to be proud of :-) good luck

Mine is on Tuesday so I am spending the weekend cleaning EVERYTHING and packing my bag (overnight stay) and hopefully i will get some relax time in too, if the kids let me lol!

I got the nerves so bad just before I nearly legged it out of the anaesthetic room!! Its totally worth it hun! Just think about that post you get to write when you are all done! Its the post you have been waiting all this time to write!
