Cold - 6days pre op :(

Well I had a scratchy throat yesterday, now I've got a cough, headache and my nose is blocked up and running all at once (somehow). My little girl and baby boy have it too. He's only 3 months and its his first illness, so feeling sorry for both of them too.
Anyway I'm guessing today and tomorrow will be the worst of it and will be feeling better by Saturday. We're going to have a day indoors and send other half up the shop for roast ingredients.. Lots of veg and rest! I'm glad it's come out today and not later in the week though xx

Hi Mais, hope you feel better soon. Im sure you will be fine by Sat, at least your getting it out of the way now.
Im getting quite nervous! Not sure why, iv been waiting long enough for this to come round!!
Plenty or rest and fluids for you (as much rest as you can get with a 3 month old!! lol)

Thank you both.
i havent had nerves yet, ive got butterflies but excited ones lol im sure mine will kick in soon, i can imagine me having some form of breakdown leaving everyone saturday morning
Have you packed your bags etc yet?
The 3 month old is fine...it's the 16month old that keeps me busy :heehee: xx

Not packed yet, still got a few bits to get but might start it tonight lol, will make it feel more real once that's done!!
I know what busy is like!! Iv got 3 kiddies but its deffo my nearly 3 year old that keeps me on my toes lol

Sounds like you have a mad house too! Lol
I'm going to start packing today too, somewhere between housework-lots to do slowly preparing for next weekend, will be staying in Thursday to get all washing done and spring clean house. God I hate housework xx

It is a madhouse!! Lucky have got next weekend without the kiddies so just me and OH until Sunday night. Pretty sure my 9 year old son will notice when he comes back, not sure how to tackle that situation lol.
was just doing the ironing (hate it soo much!!) started spring cleaning already....it's like we're getting ready to bring a new baby home!! (well..it is kind of twins hahaha)
Going to get some arnica too, apparently it helps with bruising!! Just bought a zip up hoody as have been informed getting a jumper on might be difficult. Getting some dry shampoo too as washing hair will be difficult for the first week or so i imagine!! This time net week we will have big boobies!!

Hha I started with the housework and ended p shattered so only got half way through! Stupid cold!
I started taking arnica yesterday although I thought it was one a day, when its meant to be 6 for the first week, so trying to cram 6 in over the day.
Will be home this time next week! Scary! Xx
