After BA how long till..
I can go for walks? I read on another post I should wait about a week but I'm going mad sitting on my bum all day and I'm only on day four! I'm feeling ok so think I could handle a little walk but I don't want to push it?
Was just hoping it would also help with the bloating, weighed myself today (big error!) can't believe how much I've put on since the surgery!
Also how long will it be before I can gym again? I know six weeks is the time for proper exercise but when will I be able to walk on the treadmill at an incline?
Annnnd last one, how long did everyone wait before getting..'intimate' again with their boyfriends, husbands etc?
Thanks for all your help lately girls, would be lost without this forum!

If you feel ok a short walk would probably do you some good. Take it easy and be warned your boobs will probably ache after just a short while.
Not sure on the gym, never been a fan!
As for being intimate again I would go with what your body tells you. Obviously you will need to take more care than you may normally xx

Re: After BA how long till..
I Waited 2 weeks for a er session, but couldn't enjoy it , was holding them
For dear life! Still a bit protective of them. My surgeons notes said 2 weeks, 4 weeks for some gentle feeling ( seriously!) but if pain stop. But the missionary is a joke cos I kept thinking he's gonna squash em.. And was nervous to get too jiggy. But more relaxed now, so will have a chat with the nurse on Monday as 6 weeks. As for exercise, I walked to the corner shop for a paper, had a stroll round M & S after about 4 days, but still felt uncomfortable and had a bit of boob ache, but exercise is good.

You can walk whenever you feel ready. Exercise which gets your heart rate up is 6 weeks. Being intimate is a week or two, so whenever you feel ready.

Hi Smile :) I had mine on Wednesday too and have been quite active so far - went to the shops yesterday and to the hairdressers today which is about a 15min walk each way. I did find that I was out of breath more than normal so walked more slowly, but otherwise felt fine. I think it's good to get out and about but don't want to overdo things!x

Re: After BA how long till..
We sure did! I'm actually fine now, but then I did just have 260 overs so couldn't have gone much 'easier'! I had planned a weekend at home recovering but we've ended up staying at my boyfriends parents instead as I'm pain-free etc. Am waiting for the nerves to start shooting as I'm sure that's the part that will get me!
I've actually found my stomach muscles to be the most painful part - turns out n should've prepared them by doing some sit-ups beforehand haha :p
How are you getting on? Good luck with your stroll - take it slow!x
