Hi, I'm one day post op, on one side I keep getting a warm rushing feeling near the wound. Is this normal? There is no blood or anything on te dressing.

Thanks xx

This will probably be the swelling. It can feel quite weird, they may feel like you've got air bubbles, like your belly is rumbling in your boobs, they my squeak or make noises. They can feel swooshy. They can also feel like water is rushing behing your boobs when you drink a cold glass or water. It is all normal and unfortunatley they like to do weird things for a few weeks lol.

Thanks misf1 it's the swooshy feeling I'm getting but it feels like a different temperature to the rest of my boob. Got worse once drains came out so I think it's just movement but feels so weird! Have to keep remembering that they have had two separate operations as one is doing it and the other isn't x

Aw that is an even weirder feeling when one is and one isn't doing something. Don't worry they may take it in turns lol

Seems to have eased a touch. Think tomorrow will be an ice pack day. Starting to get pretty warm now x
