Hello , had a 5 week post op check today. Still had scabs and a white bit showing on the left breast. Anyway, my stitches hadn't dissolved. She pulled out about 5 from the left with scabby bits and about 3 from the right. She said I was having a bit of a conflict with the healing process and the stitches trying to escape! Anyway got cleaned. Dressings again, one for a week on the left, 2 days on the right , left got a tiny opening on it. No sign of infection, but back nxt Monday for a check up. Apart from that, she said the breasts look great. Softening up nicely. She also said there could be some more stitches to come out. Bit sore but otherwise fine. Flash

Glad all else is well other than problems with the stitches. Hopefully that will be resolved soon and it's good there is no infection! Xx

These stitches are dissolvable , just didn't wanna go / dissolve x don't think I will be wearing any normal bra's for a while, but as long as it gets healed up I am ok with that x

You will get to wear normal bras soon enough. I had to wait longer than some to wear wires as I didn't heal as was expected but it was worth the wait xx
