Saw surgeon today for 1st post op check up
He said he's particularly pleased with his work and he thinks they are as near to perfect as he could have got them :)
Can go into sports bras now if I want but not essential they are healing well without a bra.
Celebrating with a bath!

Ah right, weird how we're all given different advice eh! I've been strapped in my sports bra 24/7 for 6 weeks, I love taking it off for a little bit of a night and letting my boobies breathe! So are you totally unsupported? Does it not feel like they are going to fall off? Hahaha! xlittlewellies wrote:I had the go ahead for submerged baths last week! Wanted to check with him first tho :)

That's such good news lovely. Really pleased, always nice to hear a happy boobie story!
I wish I was seeing the surgeon for two week check. He's amazing, I just don't have the same confidence in the nurses :( but I don't see him until 3 months so hopefully my worries are unfounded
Soooo jel of your bath..! Xx

Great news LW! Mr Withey also said I was allowed baths and could swim but I was a bit dubious after reading on here! Have you still got you steri strips on? I keep replacing mine, I'm scared to take them off! Have you updated your PT?

No Hun its 6 weeks standard for excersise, hoovering and generally anything that puts a strain on your upper body, you should get the all clear from the surgeon at your 6 week check.
Not o ly that at your first post op check you won't even be able to excersise.

Ok thanks Hun. Sure I can cope without doing household chores for 6 weeks. ,y other half will love that.
Will I find it hard to drive after the op? I know I can't for first 24 hours but with the discomfort after not sure. Will be getting food shopping delivered too I think haha x

I had to stop my driving lessons for nearly 5 weeks but if i was a driver i might have felt more confident to drive after 2 weeks but it would still have been uncomfortable i think xx

Did you have yours under? I'm hoping as mine are over the recovery will be a bit quicker. But don't want to risk problems after the op x
