Hello everyone, Im planning on having a breast reduction, uplift and implants. I have had breast implants for over 10 years now, I have had the op done twice, once 15yrs ago and the 2nd 10 years ago. My left implant has a slight capsular contracture and its time to get them changed! I have 650cc's so I am pretty big and in all honesty at a size 8 they are too big for me now, I just want smaller, lighter, pert boobs!!! Ideally Id like to go from my 30g to a 30d/dd but I really need to go with an amazing surgeon that does amazing work!!! I have always said Id never have a reduction but the time has come and I am actually really excited about it ;)
Has anyone on here had similar work done? I also want to reduce the size of my areolas, I just want small neat boobs!!! I would be grateful if anyone has before and after pics of their work, surgeons details, costs etc. So far I have been told about Dr Allen Rezia? He sounds great but I have to pay £100 just to see him??? This doesnt sound right??? Please PLEASE any advice would be fantastic ;)

I've added some information for you on your welcome thread Hayley... Unfortunately I can't help with cost though because I only payed in part for my surgery (4K) the rest was free due to my having a ruptured implant and still within aftercare.

I did however have the exact same surgery you're having though, so if you've anything specific to ask sweetness, just ask away. Xx

I had Mrs CC Kat at spire in birmingham. This is her website [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I had 390cc round mod profile polyurethane implants, a full uplift and areola reduction and lipo to the crease to avoid a full anchor scar. The polyureathane implants arent used by many surgeons here in the UK but I was keen on them as they have the lowest rates of CC of any implants and they dont drop like other implants as they adhere to the pocket so less chance of sagging. Mrs Kat is a specialist at breast reconstruction and she has done a fantastic job of reshaping my empty sagging breasts. I would recommend her work to anyone. The op cost me £5832 and I had to pay £120 for a consultation but it was very thorough and I was with her for 45 mins talking and discussing my options. She showed me loads of before and afters of her work and she measured me all over and drew on me to show me what she could do. When u become active you can see my pics. I have loads as I cant stop taking pics! I love my new boobies!!!

Yeah thats what I had to do £60 to book and £60 on the day. You really get your money's worth though and Mrs Kat is very approachable and she doesnt rush you at all so ask her all your questions!

3 years ago now hun.

So much to ask you! What size were your implants before and then after?

I reduced by 60CCs - 460CC to 410CC (wish id gone smaller still) but because of the rupture it distorted my breast and made it huge. It was rather ugly and sadly there was no coming back from the damage done.

are the scars good?

Scars are amazing along the horizontal and the vertical, but I unfortunately got an infection which affected the scar around my aerola, so am next week having revision (lollipop lift) to correct this. This is free and covered through my after care. Do ask about cover for scars when you go for your consultation babe. There are NEVER any guarantees with this surgery no matter how good the surgeon so always best to cover your back... Or your boobs as the case may be lol.

The shape?

Shape is A-MAZZZZE- ZING! I love how my new boobs look. It's like I've had 20 years taken off them. I'm a 44 year old woman with boobs like I had in my twenties haha. They really are that good Hayley. The confidence you'll get from having smaller boobs is something else hun!

I have a capsular contracture in the left and can't wait to get them out!!!

Ask a capsulectomy at your consultation hun. I had to have a full capsulectomy, I'm sure it would be the same for yourself lovely, so ask if your surgeon would go through that with you also.

Do you have any before n after pics?

I don't show pics. Sorry lovely. Xx

Please keep in touch with me, Im sure I will have a million more things to ask as the next few weeks go by

I'm going nowhere hun. So anything you need to know just ask away.

Im trying to research so much, poor Ms Kat will be worn out with all my questions!

You're doing the exact right thing hun. We have a consultation notebook in the breast augmentation information section of the forum if you need questions to ask. You can just print it off and take it with you. A surgeon shouldn't be bothered at all by any questions or the time it takes for you to ask them hun, so make sure you ask all you want to say sweetie

Im getting so excited, never thought 15yrs that Id be excited about smaller boobs, funny how things change! Speak soon ;) x

Isn't it. When I had my first implant my boobs were massive! Really they were so out of proportion to my frame it was unreal but I loved them at first. It was only over time that my boobs become more of a burden then a love. I was conscious of them, they sort of come to define me after a while and I hated not being able to wear all the clothes I liked. I didn't see it early post- op maybe I didn't want to. But I'd traded small boobs that I had hang ups about for big ones that I had hang ups about! My boobs are really nice now. They're really pert too so I can wear tops with no bra and my boobs sit nicely 'up there' you'll be amazed at the transformation hun and I'm sure you'll be much happier. Xx
