6 week check... still no bras :(
Had my six week check today! Can't believe how fast it's gone.
I can now resume normal life and treat them no different! Can hoover, woohoo use bio oil and she said not to wear a bra at night but I'm not to keen on that, I quite like living in my Macom now!
NO BRAS though! Was gutted when she said I had to wait until my 3 month check. I was all ready to go into town after and buy bras and get measured! Gutted, but then it's only another 6 weeks...
I cheered myself up by getting my nipples pierced instead haha Always wanted it done but was too scared to get my old boobs out! I have had most other places pierced to it just felt right...happy again with fresh piercing pain

Good good hunny, you'll find quite a lot of girls now are being told to live in a sorts bra for 3 months . That 6 weeks has flown by nd the next 6 weeks will too. Just be sure to get measured just before x mas so your other half can treat you to loads of new bras!
Pierced nipples! Ouch! X congrats though glad they make you happy xxx

Yeah it does seem that way! I couldn't really imagine getting them into a bra anyway, they don't push together very easy!
Haha I have already told him that! His response was "So your going to make me go bra shopping, on my own, less than two weeks before xmas...I have never bought a bra" I replied with " So, my boobs are worth it" lol xx

exactly! They need to be dressed up to show them off! X it really is an amazing feeling though when you first put them into a nice pretty looking bra. I remember I cried when I wore my first bra after my 1st ba after wearing gel bras that were the only ones I could buy in a 32aaa / AA it was the best feeling to buy a 'normal' bra that my boobs fitted! Hi zebra, pleased your happy happy!!
How are you feeling about your size now? Have you seen much difference since we last messaged?
I'm upset about mine now swellings gone, they do seem sadly much smaller. any idea yet what your measuring, you thought before a c /small d, although your avi looked much bigger than mine!!
I've got one lots bigger than the other at the min , got dreaded tape measure out and I've got an inch and a bit difference in measurement from base to nipple, making me very stressy about it all. Did yours drop and fluff more? You've got about three weeks on me and I'm always a step behind in recovery so its nice to hear from you as a measure!!!
Cheers emxx

I'm 6 weeks today and I'm in a Macom for 3 months but I dont feel ready for wires yet anyway so it doesnt really bother me. Been told it ok to go braless or wear a normal bra for the odd occasion but otherwise its Macom 24/7!

HIi Emily!
Ooooooh you sound not a happy bunny :( Boobies are changing all the time and yeah, I do feel they are smaller but when I look in the mirror naked they do look bigger then when I'm clothed they just disappear, which is soooo annoying esp when people say "Thought they would be bigger" grrrrrrr!
Try not to obsess too much about the difference, I know it's hard but they will settle into place, it's just a waiting game. My left boob looks a little smaller but it was to begin with but I don't think it's as big a difference as before! Were yours slightly different to begin with?
Your avi is amazing Emily and from looking at that alone I would be over the moon with yours, lol!
Mine have dropped as I have lost the upper fullness but I don't think they have fluffed much I don't know if I'm being overly critical or not but if they have fluffed it's not what I was expecting. We are still so early days though... I am only just really starting to realise this is a long waiting game but it will be worth it!
I am going to out off being measured until my last appointment on the 15th Dec. I think I might be a D though :) I will update my pic trail soon and let you know if you wanna nosy, got a bit lazy and not put any more on. xx

My goodness you're a brave girl getting your nipples pierced! Just the trout of that made my bum cheeks clench!
3 years ago when I had my last surgery I was told then I had to wait 3 months to wear wires. It was almost unheard of then, but it seems to be becoming more and more popular to be told this is the way to go... It soon flies over hun and you'll be able to get all your lovely new bras in the January sales xx

Re: 6 week check... still no bras :(
Congrats on getting to 6 weeks babe. Hopefully the next 6 weeks will fly and you can go partying at Christmas with a lovely sexy bra on :) Do you know if everyone has to wait 3 months or was it just decided that you have to wait another 6 weeks? I assumed I'd get the all clear at 6 weeks. We've got the same surgeon so i'm now thinking they'll say the same to me.
Did they say anything to you about sport or exercising? I play netball and cant wait to get back into training. How are you feeling anyway hun? Are you in any pain anymore or has it all settled down now you're further along?
Glad to hear you think you might be a D becasue Iknow you were a little worried about the size before. Fingers crossed for you babe xx

Hi Queen,
It does seem like everyone has too wait longer but I can see why, the boobs aren't really soft enough to force into a bra I don't think... well, mine aren't! I got given the all clear to carry on as normal. To be honest I'm not 100% happy with Transform Nottingham, they aren't as in depth as I would have thought with their advice. Nurse said I could go to the gym if I wanted but didn't really say what could or couldn't do. But yeah, everything back to normal now! I'm sure if you wear a good sports bra you'll be able to play netball soon enough :)
Feeling good though, now my nipples hurt lol Still get aches in my boobs, mainly my left one, which is normal so I'm not concerned. How are you getting on?? xx

Re: 6 week check... still no bras :(
I thought now would be a good time to get them pierced while you're nipples are still numb. i suppose feeling pain in them is a good thing in a weird kind of way?! Lol im doing really good. just posted a thread about my 10 day post op appointment. all went well and im really happy with how they look. sorry to hear you're not happy with your clinic. some people just don't realise how important good service and information is when you're at this stage. I've been quite lucky with the Birmingham clinic, no issues so far. its shocking how different peoples experiences can be depending on what clinic or members of staff they are dealt isn't it. you'd think they would all follow the same principles working for the same company xx

Did you ask why you couldn't wear bra's yet ? Is it just the surgeons preference, Zebra? Well done on the piercing you are a braver woman then I !!! The 6 weeks has flown x

Hey Zebra, is it ok to get nipples pierced at 6 weeks then? Did you ask your PS or did you just go? I've got mine done but will have to take them out for the op. have been wondering how long it'd be until I could get them redone. 6 weeks seems reasonable :)

Re: 6 week check... still no bras :(
Hi ladies!
Queenyk - my nipples are much more sensitive now, before my BA they were soooo numb! Weird eh! lol! x
Jakki32 - I didn't ask too be honest just weent along with it, should have asked really but I can only assume it's cos they need to soften up more, she did say it takes about 3 months for them to feel softer so I guess that's why. I'm not too bothered now though, as they don't feel ready yet anyway. x
Fifi76 - Thanks chick I can't wait to sleep in my ball again but II'm too scared, only just started going on my side a bit now, feel OK though so maybe I'll try it :) Nice to know your boobies felt ready for bras at 3 months, I hope I am the same as you! Cos right now I don't think I would wanna wear one, as much as I want to think it would just hurt.
RE the nipples... DO IT! lol! I didn't feel much at all, they numb them anyway so all you would feel is a slight pinch when piercing but they put a lot of numbing stuff on so it's all good :) they keep bleeding though which is nice, not lol! So happy though, I feel I look right now as most other parts of me are pierced lol x
Newboobz - I dunno, I didn't ask lol Just went ahead and did it, don't see why it would be a problem it's no where near my implants... I did have a panic after though and thought could it affect my healing?! Too late though, done it now! x
