6 week check up
Hi Girls
What happens at your 6 week check up? Do you think they will tell me I can wear an underwired bra? And I can have a bath and go back to the gym?

Re: 6 week check up
At my six week check I was told I could wear any bra I liked and Id already started training at that point and was fine.
Aw, bet you cant wait to get the all clear to be 'normal' again !!

It's amazing how much I've missed having a bath. Can't wait to stop wearing these sports bras 24/7. Roll on friday :)

I agree girls it will be so nice to get back to normal, and I can't believe how quickly 6 weeks have gone by. I love my new boobs and I think they look great, even if they're a little lope sided at the moment. I wish I'd done it years ago.

Well for me girls......about 30 years ago
Anyway my six week check was to check all was o.k. with me, any questions need answering a good examination of breasts grope ...pictures taken and copies forwarded to me. Seen pre-op ones which I failed to recognise as me!!!!
Advised I could bath, use Dermatix if wanted and massage if wanted to soften breasts and scar tissue, and shown how to firmly, and advised to treat them like normal breasts??. I still had to wear sports bra for further 6weeks in day re: anatomicals, always new this, and it wasent a problem for me, any bra was a blessing. It is a great point in the journey and just enables you to feel everything is as it should be.
Good luck ladies xx

Re: 6 week check up
Thanks nat, can't wait to go shopping, don't get paid til tuesday, so will get a few bras then. Not too many just in case of the fluffing fairy.
Re: 6 week check up
Good luck for tomorrow!
I'll be 6 weeks post op on Tuesday but my check up isn't until the Thursday.
It's amazing how fast the time flies. 6 weeks in a sports bra sounds awful at first but you get used to it don't you?
Let us know how you get on - you must be so excited.

I'm really excited, I'm taking my new bra to work with me, I got an hour off to go for my check up and if they say I am allowed to wear underwire then I will change in the loo when I go back to work I'm that excited about wearing it.
I will let you all know how it goes :)

Re: 6 week check up
Went to Transform today, can't believe it. I got the wrong day, I should have gone yesterday. I'm such an idiot. I was convinced it was today. So had to ring them and appologise and got another appointment for next friday. Looks like I wont be wearing my nice bras yet. I've had such a bad week. Feel like crying. Oh well. It can only get better.
