6 week check up...

So everything seemed to be fine, she just said I could start wearing underwires (no more sports bra - YAY!!!), but didn't actually check the incisions??? She just took pictures for before and after shots....

I also forgot to ask her if I could go swimming? As a few of us are going to a hotel tomorrow night for new year and there is a spa there which I was really excited about, but now unsure whether I should use the pool, do any of you girls know if it will be ok at 6 weeks to go in the pool?

Hope you girls had a lovely Xmas and are looking forward the the New Year with your lovely new assets to show off :)

congrats hun, enjoy ditching the sports bra. I would think you will be fine for the pool as long as your incisions are closed and pink with no scabs.

Hi holly so glad you can ditch the sports bras! i had mine done same day as you but was told i didnt need a 6 week check,dont go back till may !!,I was told though that i could swim at 6 weeks and wear normal bras but to wait till incisions are flat for underwires,i bought 5 in asda sale only cost £7 !!! cant wait to wear them!,were you told you can be braless for bed now ??? I hate wearing bras for bed !!xxx

Hi Sparkyleeds, she said I could go braless, no need to wear them at all, but I have worn them the last couple of nights. And I wore a wire all yesterday and by the evening I was quite sore, so back in the sports bra today :(

Wow not until May, I have another check up with the surgeon 31st Jan, I think after that no more.

Have to say it is sooo nice being able to wear normal bras though :)

Hi Sparklyleeds, hope you dont mind me asking what size, shape ..... implants you have, and this may sound strange but are you wearing a bra in your avatar. I had hoped to look very similary to you post BA.

Hi shell,i had anatomicals,375cc unders,was a 34A before now 34 D/DD and no i didnt have a bra on !!! first time ive ever had a piccie took braless!!!xxx

thanks sparkyleeds. you look fab. I am seriously confused I had 385 hp unders and was a 34 before. I could not in a million years wear a top like that withough a bra, I would almost look flat chested. I cannot understand it. I didnt have anatomicals but should it make that much of a difference. I look flat chested in comparrison to you. really really confused :)

Shell...I have seen your pics. I really dont think you look flat chested... put an avatar up for the girls to see - I reckon they will all love how you look - I thought you looked great!!

thanks so much holly I was just coming back into this post to apologise for butting in our you and to see how you were doing.

I dont know if my mind is playing tricks on me. I am still wearing padded bras because I feel timy without them. In the next few days I am going to put up an avatar and a picturetrail account because i am tormented. I think I might be alot smaller that when you saw my pictures previously as the swelling has gone down. I am still not happy with the size of the right. If I can I will do it this evening, Im not great with the internet 6 week check up... 869500

Ok hun... look forward to seeing the new Avi :).... everyone, including myself can see faults in there self, no-one is perfectly symetrical.

You had bigger implants than me... and I doubt yours have shrunk to nothing :) they looked a great size against your figure. Look forward to seeing the pics. I bet the size of your bras are telling you that you are definitely not small.

When did you have yours done shell ?,my avatar pic was taken when i was about 4 weeks post op and i reacon they have dropped quite a bit since then so prob wont look the same braless in that top now !Think i might go check......x

I wish i could wear wired bras now, but can until my 3 month check. they said i could wear non wired ones but to be honest with the size that i am im not willing to spend and then rip the wiring out as they can be pricey.

I dont think there as high up now shell,i asked my hubby if he thought they looked smaller and he said "there bloody massive !!!" that made me feel good!! And vicci the nurse at my post op said after 6 weeks once the scars felt flat i could wear wired bras!,ive bought a lot in the sales but i still get a few twinges of pain between my boobs (i think the skins still stretching!)so have not dared wear them yet!!xxx
