Do your nipples rise after ba?
Hi girls, after losing a lot of weight my boobs have dropped a lot, and my right nipple is a lot lower than my left, and was wondering, do your nipples rise due to the implants (basically can I get away with just having implants without an uplift), or do they stay in the same place after your ba, because if they do rise I was thinking I could ask the surgeon to put a larger one in my right boob so that my right nipple aligns with my left after ba. Sorry if this is a really stupid question, but would rather not have an uplift I can get around it. Thanks in advance for any replies xxx

No such thing as a stupid question hun xx
It will all depend on the level of Ptosis (droop) that you have as to whether they will recommend an uplift or just an implant xx
They will use completely different sizes of implants in order to correct asymmetry if required, however if you need an uplift you need an uplift hun xx
If you were to just put implants into saggy boobs and not have an you will just end up with bigger saggier boobs I'm afraid xx
You'll have to see what PS says hun

Thanks hun, I had a feeling that would prob be the answer (but was hoping it wasn't) :-) I'm pretty sure ill need an uplift in that case as one boob is perfect, pert, full and a great shape and the other one is very saggy, empty at the top and the nipple is very low down and I really want my nipples to be aligned more than I want big boobies! And that's saying a lot! :-)
Thanks again x

I lost 5 stone hun and desperately needed an uplift. The scarring is still fresh but isnt as bad I expected and its totally worth it for the fab new shape that I now have. Its opened doors for me and I will now be able to wear clothes I would never have dreamed of wearing!

Echo what Kay says hunny, Unfourtnatly an implant itself won't correct a saggy breast. If you need an uplift your going to need an uplift! See what your surgeon suggests hunny. Xx

Re: Do your nipples rise after ba?
5 stone wow! I've lost 2, and hoping to lose another 2 stone before I have it done, in feb. I was trying to think of everything possible to get around an uplift, but I think it's definatly going to be the way to go. I really wana be able to wear clothes I havnt been able to too! :-) I just hope the scaring isn't too bad, but I suppose it's definatly goin to be worth it, and there's always fake tan! I imagine that will cover the scars! Thanks hun x
P.s did you have implants with your uplift, and if so, what size did you have, I imagine you can't have very big implants with an uplift x

Kay's said all there is to say lovely... You'll get a slight lift from having implants alone, but your nipples will basically remain around the same height. If you're going to have surgery to make the best of your boobs, I personally don't think it's worth cutting corners just for larger boobs babe. If you need a lift to get the best aesthetic results from your surgery, it's best to go with that hun. X

Re: Do your nipples rise after ba?
Thanks for your advice girls, been a great help in making my mind up! 5stoneedown, can I ask, what should I be expecting to pay, roughly, for a ba and uplift together, I know a ba on its own is around 4000, but does it go up by much to have an uplift as well x

Re: Do your nipples rise after ba?
Hi Hun
I was on the verge of needing a uplift and desperatley didnt want one. My surgeon said that we should get away with it and he also lowered where my boobs join my chest undrneath by 1cm so this gives the illusion that my nipples are higher (plastic surgeons trick apparently). I would ask your surgeon and get there result hun but depending on the droop it is possible to not have a uplift :-) xx

Re: Do your nipples rise after ba?
I paid £5832 for my uplift and implants. I got quoted as much as £6500 from elsewhere. It is more expensive but if its needed its worth the money to ensure the longevity of ytour results.
