Haha I'm glad they make you chuckle Tors. They make me do this over and over again. My forehead hurts
Re: November Buddies
Glad you're healing well Cookie xx
Snowy I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like they're going to fall off in the shower!!! Also, I've been getting a really strange sensation when i drink cold water - like its leaking into my boobs - is that normal!?!
- At least with posting like this we have the opportunity to amend our mistakes - i remember years ago i wrote a letter to my very best friend and one to my very old and 'proper' Nan and put them in the wrong envelopes!!! My nan never said a word, i think she was too embarrassed!! I'd written a lot about me and my then BF!!! I only found out because my friend thought it odd that I'd write her such a 'politically' correct letter!!!

I meant to say beefs baps (thatll be my auto correct). You could have shrugged it off as slang for big boobies.
Girls I'm braless & I love it even tho I did think they were falling off the first 5days!

Re: November Buddies
I was told by my nurse I have to sleep on my back for 48 hours to aid the swelling and laying on your side makes the swelling cross onto the side your lying on. Can't imagine lying pretty much flat yet, I'd be like a tortoise on its back unable to get back up lol! I say if your comfortable and not swollen anymore then go for it!

Re: November Buddies
Cookie I actaully have a phobia of it. I can even bring myself to say the v word.. I've had therapy over it and still never cured it. That time I was I'll after my 2nd ba was the first time in over 12 years I'd been Ill
If I feel Ill I will make sure I'm not, breathing , rubbing my tummy, anything that controls it.
I suffered nausea Through my pregnancies but I controlled not being sick through breathing, eating ginger biscuits. Anything that made me feel better.
If my children are ill I'm awful, I have t call my mum up if husband not around and it's been known for her to turn up at 3am because one of my boys was sick once. I have an awful phobia of it and I go into full blown panic attack if someone arounds me is I'll of feels I'll, I know it's not a no e experience but I actaully have the worst case phobia of it. I can't look at it or even watch joke things of it it's that bad. X

Re: November Buddies
OMG! I'm the same mrsball! I've never had therapy like, but I can't bare sickness or anyone being sick.
That was why I was so panicked about the GA this time and I could have kissed the anaesthetist when I woke up and felt good.
Infact I'm going to ask which aneasthetic he used just in case I have surgery again! Xx

Re: November Buddies
I feel like that too Mrs Ball,
I can count on one hand the amount of times iv physically been sick in the last 5 years! My oh will be sick then be fine, i wuld rather hold it down and feel sick for 3 days straight rather than actually be sick and get it over with. Eurgh..........feeling sick at the thought!
Lucky my kids have only been sick a couple of times in the past couple of years, don't know how id cope if the were regular vomiters!! lol.
Cazzy, hopevyou feel better very soon.......although bet all this sick talk is making you feel worse!! Sorry lol xxxx

Re: November Buddies
Lol.. That's what I was like, I had the nicest nurse in the world she was mr Percival's nurse and I saw her every time, in consulation, appointments and the actual days of my surgerys I explained to her And she gave me anti sickness before it even set in. I explain to any anethatists I've had for ba and for my c sections that I couldn't care less what they're doing to me don't care about pain or anything I just CAN'T BE SICK!
I've had it most of my life and I can't think where it stemmed from as I remeber having panic attacks in junior school because someone was ill so before then.
Even my boy come home yesterday and said someone was I'll in the boys toilets at school. And I jus panicked I don't want my kids being round it either . !
Luckily they don't have a phobia of it and I'd never wish them to its the most awful thing In the world, and I hate having it but everything I've tried hasn't worked. It's getting to the stage where my daughter was sick the other day but as she's on solids it wasn't pleasant and left the husband to undress her and throw her clothes in the washing machine and I just turned it on to get them washed as quick as possible!
Them I'm the with dettol, rubber gloves cleaning anywhere he's touched!!!! X

Re: November Buddies
We're just waiting for the sick bug to hit our house. So many kids have been sent home from school with it. Hate it!
Had my steristrips removed at hospital today and they are healed enough to not have more. Only thing is I have pain in my lower ribs. On both sides. I think its internal bruising but so sore. My sports bra was pressing on it so i have got a medium support one hoping that will help. The firm one was really painful.
All your avi pics are great! I cant wait to buy a lovely bra post 6 weeks x
