Re: November Buddies
Hello girls. Iv just completed three 12.5 hour shifts in a row which were highly stressful :( I just keep thinking now iv only got three more to go before my BA and then two weeks off even if they are painful.

Re: November Buddies
Ahhh yes, I remember now mrsB. It's a while since I've had to deal with chicken pox! Lol. I really didn't know you could get them twice though. I thought once as a kid and in adulthood if you contracted the virus again you'd get shingles... Blew my theory out of the water didn't he lol. Xx
Manxie, that's great you're first on the list - no waiting!!!! Got my hibiscrub at the ready too lol. Xx
Thanks Cazzy . You must be knackered hun! You'll probably be just glad of the rest when your have your BA!!! Xxx

Re: November Buddies
I didnt know you could get chicken pox twice eitther!
Hope you get better jogo and everything goes to plan.
How often do you usually have op after admission time? I have to be there at 9.30 and I'm not one to do well without breakfast lol.
Also I've been due on and haven't stopped eating and I've put on 3lbs And it's made a massive difference so hoping to get that off in the next two weeks. Xx

Re: November Buddies
Iv heard of people going into theatre up to an hour & a half after admission. Hoping that's true cus my admission is 7.30am & will not love waiting.
Clothes wise has everyone stocked up on zip up/button up tops/cardis etc? Been warned it could be a lil while before I'm pulling jumpers & tops on over my head cause of arms.
Iv been trying to not put on too much weight before the op. Once my Boobies are healed I kno they'll push me to lose a bit more (hoping they will)!

Re: November Buddies
You could go within the hour of admission down to theatre Cazzy, then again you could be waiting up to 6 hours if there's any emergencys come through... Always best to be prepared for a wait I think, then it's a bonus if you go down earlier. Xx
Re: November Buddies
Yes stock up on mags, books and possibly your laptop if you have wifi. With my first they put through 2 before me at the clinic. I wend from midnight till 6pm that evening without food and very little drink. I should have complained now when I think about it. Think it is very different now. You wont be waiting long x

Re: November Buddies
You can't really complain about emergencies though if you're made to wait can you sweetness. these things are sometimes beyond anybodys control....So it is best just to be prepared. Xx
Re: November Buddies
The clinic didnt do emergencies it was surgicare clinic not a hospital. i got told they were longer so they wanted to do them first and only decided that morning but they wouldnt let me eat or drink for ages. This time Iv been told I can eat up to 7am :-) . My belly cant go long haha x

Re: November Buddies
Lol. I'm in at 8am so won't have anything in the morning. It's going to be a looooong hungry/thirsty day if I have to wait! Xx
Re: November Buddies
I drink like a fish (do fishes even drink? - you know what I mean) so I'm gonna hate it.
Ordered my bra today from amazon. Triaction extreme. Some of the reviews iv read say its very generous on the sizing tho. So I really hope the DD iv ordered will fit. I thought DD would be huge anyway but we shall see!

Re: November Buddies
Well I'm all hibiscrubbed up now and clinically clean! Lol. Nerves seem to have gone now and I feel relatively calm considering.
I'm not going to be around for a week, maybe ill pop in but if I don't get chance I'd just like to wish Jogo, Tors, Smile, CassieShips, Snowy15 & Cazzyxo if I don't make it back in time a great BA day!
I'll be back to wish those after you girls luck... So enjoy it girls. This really is a life changing experience and I hope you all enjoy your boobs as much as I've enjoyed mine and more! Xx
